I have been a member for several years at Massage Envy in Murrieta. I am always treated with kindness and professionalism from the moment I walk thru their doors. I have had massages with only three of the therapists there thus far, and they have all been amazing, each one having their unique gifts and styles of massage. I have chronic neck and back pain, and I have had some of the best body work done on me here at the Murrieta location. Each of the 3 therapists listened to my concerns, and really worked hard to help relieve my pain. I can’t say enough positive things about them! Love it here!

My ex boyfriend got me a membership last February and I enjoyed 2 really good massages. The 3rd massage was terrible and my boyfriend decided to transfer the monthly membership dues back to me(no wonder we broke up). So I put the membership on hold and reactivated it in December due to back issues flaring up. The last 2 massages the girl was terrible, told me she injured her hand and was glad I requested a light massage(uh no– deep tissue always.) And not only talked the whole time, but let out multiple SBD’s in my face.(Who does that??) I asked for a 2 hour massage and had 2 different people with a break in the middle. It was not relaxing at all, and I had to explain all of my trouble areas all over again, while naked laying under the sheet) Needless to say I am not happy at all. I called 3 times last week to cancel my membership, and was told it wouldn’t be a problem but the manager was conveniently away every time I called. This time after calling today 3 times– I got the manager who told me that not only could I not cancel my membership(not what everyone else on the phone told me) but that if I broke their contract I would be liable for the remaining 5 treatments. This is bad bad customer service and I will never go back to this place again.

My appointment was double booked and the service was absolutely terrible and not up to par. We informed the person that checked us out and she LIED and acted as if we got a good deal because we got the«free» enhancement that you already get every few months. Very disappointed. I would recommend another location.

I had a one hour deep tissue massage this morning with Caitlyn, I came out feeling so relaxed! If your a first time customer the price is reasonable, however if your going in for a follow up visit it is pretty pricey. They do try to sell you a membership on your way out so beware!!!

I guess for the price you really can’t complain. I’ve cycled through several massage therapists and only found one that was remotely decent. I think the therapists are all straight out of school which is fine but if you’re really picky about your massages such as I am, I wouldn’t recommend massage envy

I had a great experience last Saturday, I received a facial from Stephanie and she was awesome! Everyone at the front desk was really nice and even though it’s not my normal location I think I will return regularly for my facials. I can’t speak for the massages yet but I had a great experience and will be returning!

Ashley does my prenatal massage and I can’t say enough amazing things about her. I’m a massage pro so I’m no stranger to the good the bad and the ugly when it comes to massage. She listens and she’s got«the touch». She really truly understands anatomy and does exactly what it takes to satisfy her achy guests. Bravo Ashley!

I’ve only seen one massage therapist here and she was alright. The room was so cold I was practically shivering, I guess she didn’t turn the bed heater on. She kept shuffling around noisily and bumping into things & I could hardly relax. When she massaged my back, I felt she didn’t know what she was doing. It reminded me of the episode of friends where Ross massages the old man with wooden spoons and tonka trucks, which I would’ve preferred over her prickly arms. When she got to my neck and shoulders, it was better. Scalp massage was good too. It really is a hit or miss(with all massage envys), but I guess I’ll continue to go to my usual guy at the Temecula location for massages.

What a disappointment!!! My husband booked me an hour and a half massage with my favorite therapist & a facial… well over 3 weeks ago! I just received ANOTHER«scheduling conflict» message less than 24hrs of my scheduled appt. So much for the«royal treatment» or renewing our membership: /

Wow I cannot believe that you cannot walk in and pre-pay for gift certificates when they advertise this. No you have to leave your credit card on file? Sorry but with all the credit card theft out there people are gun shy to leave their card numbers out there. You should not advertise Gift certificates if your not going to allow someone to buy them. You just lost a customer.

The bottom line with massage envy is that if you don’t want to be a member don’t go here. It’s not a traditional day spa it is a membership based massage service. If you have other expectations you will be sorely disappointed. Membership is the way to go if you want 2 or more massages a month; it’s a great deal for a full massage experience on a regular basis. This location is huge and has a very lovely reception and quiet room; very nicely designed. It was popping on the weekend. Massage envy is hit or miss but if I don’t know the therapist I insist on only being booked with someone who does great deep tissue. That usually works out and I get good massages. I had a Vietnamese man here, he was very good, can’t recall his name though…

This place is hit or miss… you either get an amazing therapist or the worst massage of your life. Find one you like and stick to it. They are all about the sells there as well. Always trying to sell something random. After 2 yrs of membership, they gave me the worst canceling experience. Well… actually Murrieta location was great and very very helpful in making it work. The Wildomar location sucks which was my «home» for some dumb reason sucked.

I was really disappointed with this place. Upon walking in it seemed decent; nice reception area, refreshments, welcoming smiles, etc. However, after sitting for a few minutes while filling out paperwork and waiting for my masseuse I overheard an employee badger a customer for over 10 minutes about why they should sign a contract to become a member. I dreaded my checkout from that point on. Next strike was my massage… I’d rate it at a 2 out of 10. The first 5 minutes were apparently a «warm up» where all she did was lightly rub my back… I think my 2 y.o. can do a better job at that. After her warm up she increased her pressure, supposedly. I had to ask her more than enough times to increase her pressure which didn’t happen. At the end I noticed her stop time and I was literally on the table for 47 minutes… I paid for an hour massage. I asked the front desk about the time and they said it’s a full hour: 5 min to consult with your masseuse, 50 min on the table and 5 min to get dressed. What a freakin rip! Anytime I’ve paid for an hour massage(and I’ve been to several different places) I’ve received a FULL hour of massage. Needless to say I won’t be going back.

I had just gotten married and wanted a minute to unwind after all the craziness. This was my first time in a Message Envy and it was ok. I’m not one to go to spas a lot but I have been to Burke Williams a few times and this was far from that. It’s hard to relax when you can hear everything that is going on. The whole atmosphere would be different if everyone just lowered their voices a bit. I do have to say it was absolutely worth the price but being sold at the end was ridic! They went from being nice to being totally rude because I didn’t want to be a member. I wouldn’t go out of my way to recommend but it wasn’t completely awful either.

My mom were having a «girl’s day out» and decided to search on Google Maps for a nearby place to get a decent massage. Massage Envy popped up and showed they were doing a $ 39 introductory massage special, so we decided to go in. I was really impressed! Excellent customer service by all members of their staff; they were very professional, knowledgeable and helpful. Sarah and Sean, two of the front desk associates made my mom and I feel right at home and explained the check-in and consult process. One thing they told me that i won’t forget is all of their therapists need an extra 200 hours on top of their license before Massage Envy will hire them… I thought this was really interesting. Will, my massage therapist greeted me. Will was what I like to call«real people». He had a friendly smile and a calm, professional demeanor. I remember him saying he was trained in chiropractic service as well as different kinds of massage. He really did work on my back(I had some terrible knots that have been there for years) and for $ 39 plus a $ 12 tip, I feel like my experience was definitely worth it :)

I was 9 months pregnant and went in for a massage and facial. It went well and after that I went to leave but the women at the front desk started to hound me over and over to purchase some stupid package. I told them politely no a couple of times but they continued to hound me. I finally yelled«NO» and walked out after being harassed for 10 min.

The female therapists are great but the desk people are awful. They need to get their policies straight among the employees. Samantha doesn’t know anything, so don’t even bother letting her help you. Massage wise, Liz and Elvira has been my favorite and amazing to my body the past few years. Pretty easy to get an appointment as long as you get someone to answer the phone who knows what they are doing.
