Stopped at the local GameStop to unload some of our old PS3 equipment and decided I had to write a review on the customer service we had. Jessica you are a rockstar!!! GameStop management I hope you read these reviews because she is out of this world!!! This day and age customer service is mediocre at best and when you find someone that breaks the stays quo mold you need to give them a shout out. From the time we walked in you welcomed us, talked games with my brother(in better detail than most I’ve met), were very informative of the products we were looking for, multitasking(helping 3 customers, answering the phones) without sacrificing service. We wanted to give credit where credit was due. Thank you for the wonderful experience yesterday.

I love GameStop but the Murrieta store on Madison is my «Go To» store! I love this store as i have been going there for the last four years! I have grandchildren that have all the electronics and the only way I can keep up with them is because the staff at Murrieta GameStop help me to find the things each of them love besr! They have never steered me wrong but made me look like«Cool Grandma» who knows just what they will like and want! They make gift giving so easy and so much fun because their choices are always a hit! However, I am giving big, huge kudos to Mike Blythe, the manager of this amazing GameStop store! He literally saved Christmas for me in making it possible for my grandson to receive the gift he wanted the most! My grandson wanted an iPod but by the time I started my shopping(the second week of December) all the iPods were gone! I literally called stores all over the United States and found the one I wanted at the GameStop in San Francisco. This store did not want to ship to me so I called Mike Blythe at the Murrieta store and he jumped right in and pulled strings and two days before Christtmas he had the iPod delivered to the Murrieta store! This was after several days of phone calls and follow up with this store. I know this never would have happened without Mike’s help, perserverance and diligence. He is an outstanding representative for GameStop and the reason I keep coming back! Because of Mike, my grandson’s Christmas wish came true! Mike and his staff are what the«lost art» of customer service is all about! They are the best and make me look like the best Grandma ever!

The only nice employee is Jessica. The manager and other employees are total douche bags when u ask them questions and do not go the extra mile for customers. Definitely will not be returning to pre-order games or buying games here after Halo 5 comes out.

When I went to Murrieta for a visit with Family I got restless. You know how it is; you’ve gone too long without gaming and you need your vacation fix. Fortunately, my people had an Xbox 360 that was just rotting there(if you’re going to just use a game console for Netflix, don’t buy 2 controllers and don’t use a 360. A PS3, PS4, and XBone have the third-party services in-front of a pay wall so you’re not paying for online gaming if you’re not using it). So, I strolled into the neighborhood Game Stop and picked up a couple games. The staff did their job — stayed out of my way(I know what I’m doing) but were hospitable. Overall, I’m sure I’ll be back.

Awesome Customer service here these guys know their stuff and are very friendly with the exception of one employee i saw give someone a really hard time at the counter, didnt catch his name but i think he was management. Everyone else had been fantasitic and went above and beyond for me!

Bought my son a brand new game opened it up on christmas and didn’t work my husband bought the warranty and went in to return it the very next day with my 6 year old son, the manager Michael was incredibly RUDE! Will never ever be going back to this GameStop we called the Temecula location and they said they get complaints about him all the time and helped my husband with no hassle what so ever

Even though I put it at 4stars. This place really does have EVERTHIING you need for every game situation you could find yourself in! Help full, knowledgeable staff. Make you feel at home Still waiting on my pre — order of UFC to come in. It’s original release date was May 5th. But I guess it was postponed until June 17th. It’s ok, gives me more time to put towards my business. They could use some better parking though.

I made an account just to share my experience with this place. Just throwing that in there. There was about 3 people in the store when I went(including me) and it took around 15 minutes to get someone to finally help me. I asked about a game that I wanted to buy and they said that they were currently out of stock but that they could get it shipped from another location. I thought to myself: Awesome! The employee said it would take about 2 days I call 3 days later after not receiving any information that my game had arrived to be told that it’s currently in process and they’d call me as soon as it arrived. Okay cool. No sweat, I thought. 2WEEKS after not recieving the game I called again and was told that it had been shipped to incorrect locations MULTIPLETIMES. Not only did I not receive a phone call notifying me of this(I left my cell phone number with them multiple times asking them nicely to call me regarding any information) but the fact that it’s 3 weeks later and they still do not have the game is just shocking And may I add that each time I called, it was if I was asking them to walk 20 miles in the rain without shoes to hand deliver it to me without compensation. SOMUCHATTITUDEFROMTHEEMPLOYEES. 2 day expected deliver time turning into 3 weeks+ without any apparent effort from them to treat me with courtesy… I mean really, how hard is it? Quite possibly the worst customer service I’ve ever had, and I’m saying that with all honesty.

Went here this afternoon. Got my son a new game with his own money. The staff treated him like a big shot when he hand him the cash for the game. Made my son feel cool. It was also the 3rd game stop I went to, to find this game. This one seemed to be well stocked.

This place needs new management! Customer service is lacking. When trying to buy used games, I was told by the lady behind the register to wait for another customer to go pick out gift cards. They took 10 minutes before she finally said she could help me. Then when she was ready, after the customer did not return and the other checkout person was done, she said she could help me. Lazy, Lazy, Lazy! Last time I shop at this location. I would rather pay more and go to the big blue store!

I have only been to this store once but I have called to inquire about items in the past and each time I have called I have been placed on hold for 10+ minutes until either I hang up and call back or they hang up on me. My complaint goes beyond that though, I called and asked about a very specific item and was told it was in stock. When I arrived to pick up the item not only was it not in stock but the guy that worked there that I spoke to on the phone brought out something completely different saying he thought that was what I meant. I had to create an account on Unilocal just so that I could say that this store sucks. Far be it for me to call and ask a question forcing someone to do their job and look for a product. I’ll just buy what I need from Amazon and wait the 2 days rather then spend any money at this store.

Usually I go here and the same guy is always there(dude with a shaved head), which is cool because he remembers me and my wife and hes always chill. Customer service is always great at this store and I always get threw the line pretty fast. Plus, they have quite a bit of stuff in stock.
