Just found this Dennys the other night after walking out of the one in Temecula for being lied to and having to walk to the counter and ask for refills. Jared who I think may be the manager was so friendly on the phone and even more so in person. All the staff was smiling, and the restaurant was so clean, bright and cheerful. Wonderful service and happy customers are what will make this business continue to flourish. Thank you Jared and all the staff, especially the guy who made my sundae and delivered it with the most heartfelt smile!

The manager Antonio makes a mockery of customer satisfaction. When approached on a dissatisfied visit, he said he needed time to research it. Promised to call back in 24 hours. When he never called back, Jared came to the rescue.(Assistant?) Bre was a great server… When approached, Antonio had nothing but excuses.

Horrible experience. We felt rushed to place our order. When my son ordered a smoothie he was told by the waiter«you’re going to have to wait for it cause we’re behind» Once we ordered our drinks we waited over 20 minutes but no drinks came while everyone around us was getting refills not to mention that a family that was seated way after us was served the same smoothie my son had asked for. I approached the manager to cancel our order and he didn’t seem to mind. He was unapologetic and just watched us walk away. I will never set foot in that Denny’s ever again.

This Denny’s is HORRIBLE. I’ve never been to a Denny’s where they make a party of ONE Z that wants to sit at the counter, sign in and wait. When I asked Antonio the manager? He said: I have the same server for all the tables in the front and the counter so you have to wait. Yeah, not in this lifetime. I suggest if you want breakfast? Cook at home or go to Toms Burgers. At least the manager at home(you) and the one at Toms(seat yourself and order at the counter) are not idiots. Seriously POOR management at this Denny’s. Been eating here since they opened many years ago. I will NEVER be back.

Food was Awesome and Service was awesome especially our waiter Oscar he goes above and beyond to make sure his guests are satisfied! The only thing was after finding out that their system was down and for them not offering to Comp any part of the meal for making us wait

First, a disclosure that I was a customer relations manager at a similar business in the valley for a number of years. My wife and I have been patrons here for quite some time. This particular Denny’s deserves five stars for numerous reasons. They support the community; this past Veteran’s Day they served over 600 free breakfast meals to present and former service men and women. Kudos and THANKS! We came in the following Sunday, and they were slammed busy. We sat at our usual seats at the small counter facing they kitchen window where the meals come out ready to be served. The cooks were working faster than we thought possible. However, meals came out hot, excellent presentation, and large portions. After being checked, they were delivered very quickly to the patrons with no delay. Servers and staff were still cordial with everyone despite being so busy, and worked as a team insuring nothing was left to chance. I must say this is the norm in this store. The General Manager, Antonio Beltran, was everywhere leading his crew, yet doing every little thing necessary to facilitate their being able to remain focused and keep the customers happy. That is Antonio’s strongest point; he directs in a manner that keeps his employees happy. I’ve observed that there is very little turnover in the career positions. Businesses in the food industry such as Denny’s are many, yet few deliver the experience that Denny’s Murrieta does on a daily basis. This store is an asset to the chain, and the Temecula/Murrieta Valley

I feel like I’m always at Denny’s. Then again, I workout really late and the only places open after 1am are Denny’s and IHOP. I used to be an IHOP gal but after a mortifying experience I had with my cousin(review to come), I can say that one a Denny’s girl now. You would think that the people working at Denny’s so late would be mean and grumpy, but in reality they are so nice and chill. I had the same waitress twice, believe her name is Connie, and she is just awesome. I was actually impressed that she remembered what my cousin and I had ordered the last time we came in. I’m not really a breakfast person so you’ll catch me ordering from the dinner menu. Their bourbon chicken skillet is hands down my favorite item on the menu. The chicken is unbelievably juicy and the sauces combined with the vegetables thrown in are joined together in what Key and Peele would describe as a «delight of the senses». The last time I came in here, I ordered the sirloin steak with the squash/zucchini and red skinned potatoes. The potatoes were a little over seasoned and the vegetables were a little burnt but that didn’t stop me from devouring it all. I asked for the steak medium rare and Denny’s did not fail to deliver. If you’re on the late night prowl through Murrieta and have to choose between Denny’s and IHOP, definitely mosey on down to Denny’s. It’s just across the street from IHOP.

I was seated quickly… service in the beginning was good, until they forgot about us… I waited for ½ to try and flag someone to refill our drinks with no success… So I got up to get a manager. The manager made me feel like I was taking his time and was not even apologetic for my poor service. My kids had to eat their meals with nothing to wash it down with and the manager felt the need to tell me that the OJ refills were not free… like I went there to get a free meal??? Anyway I will never go back there. I paid my bill and said duces

I love the pictures in the menus and breakfast is great. Can’t go wrong with Danny’s. The eggs were perfect, the toast was not over or under buttered. Coffee was hot and hit the spot.

This Denny’s has always been pretty solid in terms of food and service… I don’t believe we’ve ever had an issue here. Finding a parking spot can sometimes be a pain depending on when you come by, but it’s not too bad if you have to walk a bit. I just came by recently for my free birthday grand slam and it looks like they’ve remodeled the interior quite a bit… it definitely looks much classier and more open! Definitely impressed, and I recommend this location over any of the other locations nearby.

We’ve lived in Murrieta for almost 20 years now. We’ve probably eaten at this Denny’s 6 times now. Today, we dropped our Grandson off to his first day of first grade, and thought — - Lets go eat out. My hubby suggested IHop. I suggested Denny’s. To our surprise, it was not busy at all. The parking lot seemed full, but inside, seemed pretty empty. We were waited on, immediately by a gal named, Connie. She was extremely, soft-spoken, and very mild mannered. May I add — efficient. We liked her a lot. M favorite meal of all time, is the MOONSOVERMYHAMMY… it came and was perfect. My husband had the Lumberjack. He was pleased. The bill came and we asked to use a coupon from our smart phone. We were told that we had to print the coupon, so —NO, was her answer. SORRY, The cashier said. It was for 20% off. For that, I give Denny’s 4 stars. There was a sign posted that they would match any IHOP or other Denny’s coupons… Yet they wouldn’t honor their own, from our smart phone? Who prints anything these days? The penny saver doesn’t even exist anymore. Why would I spend ink and paper on a coupon?! We asked if she would give us a military discount, and she got huffy. «Well, yeah — with a military ID…» She said. Of course we have a Military ID… Why else would I suggest it. Anyhow, 4 stars for Denny’s. That’s all I have to say about that. I probably will never eat there again!!!

This was a great Denny’s. We stopped by on our way passing through. The décor is fresh and new and the service was one point. My breakfast was a large portion and tasted great. I think 4 stars is good because it would take something extra special for me to reach out and give that 5th star to a Denny’s location.

I came here by myself this morning and I had a great experience, I didn’t think it would be busy because people normally are at work and school on Friday mornings but it was pretty busy. I got sat right away and it took a little while to get my coffee but maybe I was just grumpy because I needed my morning coffee(we all know that feeling). I had a great server named Claudia who looked awfully busy but she still managed to make my experience nice by checking on me a few times although she was running laps making sure everyone had everything. Overall it was a good experience! One recommendation would be to get better fruit for the fruit bowls! I got cantaloupe and apples when I thought it would be something tasty like bananas and strawberries(and the fruit costed me $ 1.79! Oh well…) Thanks for the good service Claudia!

Service was great and quick. Came in to eat breakfast with some family. Ordered the ham and cheese omelet which was ok. Nothing special to that. It didn’t take long at all to receive our food which was awesome because I was starving! It probably took about 5 – 10 min. Great for a quick sit down restaurant.

Server was really nice. Nachos and was good. But the tilapia smelt really fishy, but edible. The rice pilaf was partially cooked still edible. My coffee was so strong needed lots of creamer and sugar.

Such slow service and it’s not even that busy. I see plates upon plates of food crying out to be served. Unfortunately, it’s sitting there getting cold. Soo hungry and it’s been nearly an hour and finally my order arrives– it’s cold, barely lukewarm. Small portions too. Waiters are nearly unresponsive. This place needs help. On the bright side, Claudia served us and she was delightful and very friendly. Tackled concerns quickly and professionally. If you ever find yourself here, look for Claudia. No hate on Dennys, the usually have pretty good food. I probably just have to go to another location. Meh

DISCLAIMER: If you have a sensitive stomach DONOTREAD this unless you are nowhere near a mealtime. Made a random visit to Denny’s this morning for breakfast to help pass time while I waited for a friend. Staff was nice. Denny’s menu has drastically changed from my last visit, probably a year ago or so. This place was pretty busy at 9:30 am on a Friday. Our server took about 10 minutes or so before our orders were taken. She apologized for the wait. Before our drinks came, I witnessed a toddler vomit one table away. The adult male(father?) took his child to the restroom and as the busboy wiped up the highchair it was only a damp rag he used. It really disturbed me to see a damp rag sliding across the table, highchair and back in cleaning motion repeatedly with never a cleaning solution in view. I didn’t see any cleaning spray or disinfectant anywhere. The parents didn’t seem frazzled or anything but continued to be seated and proceed with their meal. The adult returned with the little boy and placed him back in the same high chair with the remaining debris beneath him on the floor. The busboy tended to cleanup immediately but I saw the vomit remain on the highchair bottom and floor for several minutes after. I am a parent and understand when children are ill, I need to remove them from a public area as a common courtesy. I contemplated walking out and abandoning our order, but refrained from doing so, as I considered the staff may just be delayed in cleaning up after them. I discreetly asked to be seated on another side of the restaurant and they were very polite to do so. I observed the table some more before my move and noticed their server took away their menus. My thought was I hoped they were going to wipe those menus down since their kids were playing with the menus. Maybe I was overly particular, maybe others can understand my fussiness regarding this matter, whatever the opinion, it was my most uncomfortable breakfast experience in a venue. I left making a note to never return and I can’t say it was entirely because of the staff. I think it was the impression that I never really felt the area was clean or sanitary after seeing how they tended to the mess. I have seen classrooms sanitized more thoroughly and quickly by janitorial staff after multiple students have puked, than this restaurant.

You know, I don’t expect much at a Denny’s. I know what I’m getting when I come here! You get a free Grand Slam on your B-day? Okay cool! Kids eat free after 4pm? Okay cool. Am I getting the best breakfast I could get in the area? Absolutely not. But when everywhere else is crowded and packed on a Sunday morning, we are coming here. The service was pretty good. We got our breakfast fast and we were starving, so can’t complain. The bacon was barely cooked but my french toast was good and iced tea tasted perfect on a hot day. Price is great and definitely can’t complain about that. I never understand why people give such low ratings for franchises like this. IT“S A DENNY’S!!! Unless you get food poisoning or had horrible service, don’t give a low rating because old people come here! Like really?
