My daughter and I had a great experience here. The staff is very friendly and talented. Their prices are very reasonable too! I will be coming back for sure.

So I’ve decided to give this place another try and this time with Tina. (First experience an elderly employee was so slow and I wasn’t happy with outcome). I had schedule an appointment for 3:30pm and when I came in she was with a customer. The spa was ready for me which I liked however, waited 30 mins until she came to work on my pedicure. Two ladies walked in and one had a 4pm appointment. she became upset when saw that the two workers were busy with customers and so she left.
At this point I saw Tina was rushing while working on my pedicure and before I knew it she was done. It took her 17 minutes! What happened to the one hour pedicure?.
Tina and her husband Shawn (owners) they’re nice and friendly. Hope next visit IF I do go back I’ll ask if they’re enough employees working.

Great nails, but never on time! Business hours show 9 – 7 I have been there twice at 9 and waited outside for 20 minutes before someone opens, other women decide to leave before anyone shows up. The second time I was there, the person that opened only knew how to do pedicures, and I needed a fill, so was turned away!

I’ve lived in Temecula for about 7 – 8 years now. I’ve visited just about every nail place here. I love a couple of them but since recently moved homes I had been looking for one closer to my new home for sometime now. I walked in and was immediately greeted with a smile and directed where to sit. My nail person was Tina. She did a great job and made sure I knew if there was something she could do different to say so, «she couldn’t read minds» thought that was hilarious. Needless to say finally found my nail place close to home so I don’t have to go across town!

Went here to get a fill (signage says $ 15) and was charged $ 20. 3 nails broke within a week. Went back to have my acrylics removed, and they ripped them off — no soaking! I didn’t even know that was allowed anymore. I could’ve done that at home myself, rather than pay for someone to torture me.

I really love the girls that work here. There nice, fun and good at there jobs. Its my go to spot!

Worst customer service ever second time I’ve gone sat and wasted my time waiting for them to open long after there suppose to be not to mention the time stated on there hours says they are seriously don’t waste your time not even that descent of a place just convenient and close to home for me don’t waste your money or time!

Still amazing! Wish I could tell everyone about this place, my favorite mommy day out!

The ladies at this salon are awesome! My best friend and I went in for our first time to get ready for my graduation and we weren’t entirely sure what colors to go with for our gel manicures. The ladies helped us to pick out the perfect color with an accent color and they did an amazing job. It’s been 2 weeks now and they still look great. No chips and they still have their shine! Going back for another great experience for a New Years mani/​pedi.

I never get so lucky as to having my nails turn out the way I like them too when I’m trying a new place! I seriously wish they were located closer to me where I live and Huntington Beach. Not only was the salon sanitary but they had great TVs to keep me preoccupied while they worked on my nails and toes. I am in love!

The ladies here at Bright Star Nails did an amazing job! This was my second time coming. The reason I came back was because my nails actually lasted over 2 weeks with the gel polish. They are worth it here! And the ladies are very sweet and I love the fact that they actually talk to you, unlike many other nail salons I’ve been to.

Tina and her crew are simply amazing! Very friendly and quick service! Tina does amazing nails and their selection of gel colors shocked me, there are so many to choose from! This is definitely my to go to spot.

It’s not exactly the fanciest nail salon I’ve been to, but they always get my nails done right! I’ve had my nails done by almost all the ladies that work here and they are just awesome and very meticulous about their work. I’ve been to several other nail salons in this area and most of them have left me disappointed with uneven nails and designs not even close to what I asked for. I haven’t been disappointed yet!

Came here for my first time last weekend & my gel nail polish is already peeling and chipping! It took them 3 times to get my gel polish right since the first lady that did my nails did a horrible job. Tina was awesome and fixed them! I loved the way they turned out, so I would recommend to have Tina do your nails. As for the gel polish they use, it peels easily & fast. I’ve never had gel nail polish peel off my nails so quickly. My nails always last 2, sometimes 3, weeks with a gel manicure. Not sure if the polish they’re using is cheap, but bottom line is it didn’t last very long at all.

I’ve been here on 4 different occasions now and have had 3 different ladies do my nails/​pedicure. The first lady that did my nails was really nice but didn’t really do that good of a job, like zero massage too during the manicure.. I wanted a regular manicure but she talked me into getting a gel manicure. I told her my nails are too thin for that and they have chipped with gel in the past way before the 2 wk time period. Needless to say she convinced me to do gel anyways. A week went by, sure enough my gel started to chip off. (Frustrating) Here’s where the great part comes in at Pure Essence. I called and spoke to Kim and she said come in and she will take the gel off and redo a reg manicure free of charge. When I went in she did just that. She was so helpful, understanding and nice. Great customer service! She’s the reason I decided to come back again the following week for my reg manicure. She did my nails again that time as well and I was really happy with them. Yesterday I went in and got a mani/​pedi and for the first time had a lady by the name of Tina do my treatment. She was awesome. I will be requesting her every time from here on out. My cuticles grow so fast in a week and most of the time I go in it’s hard to find a manicurist that trims them properly and gets all the cuticle growth off! Tina did such a good job on my nails and feet. I think I have finally found my nail tech and place here in Murrieta !!

I tend to be very picky and I used to never get my nails done for that reason. I’ve been to a few other places but they never did a good job. I started coming here a couple months ago and I’m sticking to it! I ask for Kim, and she does the best job! She’s very thorough and nice.

This review is overdue I have been coming to Pure essence nails for almost 5 years. I am picky so when I find a good place I stick with it, this place never dissapoints. I tell them what I want and they do it. The girls are younger they now what in style they use good materials not cheap ones. Kim usually does my nails but yesterday she was off and I needed a full set I wanted to try the almond shape ones and Lyhn did my nails and they came out great. I highly recommend this place.

I just recently moved here and was in search of a nail place. After doing some research on Unilocal I came across this place and decided to give it a shot. And I must say I am happy with my nails. The lady who did my nails was very sweet, talkative and gentle. I would definitely go back. Prices are good too!

Come here if you want to be argued with, talked about, and generally treated like crap!
Was here on Friday night and was rushed through a gel manicure and pedicure. I paid extra to get nail art done on my nails and the ONLY stipulation I asked for is that they use more colors than just white. First of all, the girl put three sets of cartoon-​looking «flowers» (and by flowers I literally mean four dots in a circle), and she only used white. I asked her to use more silver, she argued with me. I asked her to use violet, she argued with me. I asked her to use gold, anything, she argued with me. I finally gave up. Wow! She sulked through the rest of the work until she finally rushed out of the salon without even looking me in the eyes. I still gave her a $ 5 tip, which she did not deserve.
Then, when my gel manicure did not come out the color I saw on the display, I asked if I pointed it out to the manicurist who said back to me, «Well, of course it’s not the same color, but what do you want me to do about it?». She then «finished» my gel manicure without even putting the clear coat on top that makes them shiny.
Because I am not the confrontational customer I waited until the end of the appointment when I had paid AND tipped her $ 5, which she also did not deserve, though she was not the worst of the two, and I asked her if I could come again on another day to have the color on the TWO nails that I didn’t like fixed. She argued with me (big surprise) but finally agreed to do something about it if I came back on another day.
Well, I came back today at around 1:30 and the same two snarky girls were working. The one that gave me the pedicure «fixed» my nails for me. I am still unhappy with them, but they are better than when I left on Friday night. She also argued with me again when I mentioned that the other girl had not put on the clear coat of gel polish, saying that they would not be «dry» if she hadn’t. LOL! I have been getting gel manicures for three years now. I think I know how they work, but thank you for calling me a liar to my face.
Wow! What SNOTS! I will never be coming back to this salon and will discourage all of my friends and family from coming here.
If I were the owner of this salon I would seriously be considering who I choose to represent my business and pay attention to the negative comments I get on Unilocal.
