Coastal Animal Rescue Veterinary Clinic

Yesterday I called coastal animal– veterinary clinic to have my sick dog examined and was told they wouldn’t be able to see him that day but asked if I wanted an appointment for today. Although I was concerned about him not being seen yesterday, I understood that it was a holiday and agrees to bring him in today at 11 am. The person took my name and phone number, and my dogs name. Today drove down there and arrived prior to 11 am. At that time the person working there told us they were only performing surgeries today and asked if we wanted to reschedule the appointment. I explained that our dog is sick and needs to be examined and she didn’t respond. Needless to say, we didn’t reschedule and have no intentions of visiting them again. They sure do not walk the walk

This is a great place to go where you don’t have to worry about the bill. They are reasonable priced and do only what is necessary. No unnecessary procedures or tests. Wait time is usually not long to see the vet and the staff is considerate and caring. I highly recommend.

I bring my dog here to get her shots every year. It’s about $ 10-​$ 15 per vaccine and there are no other fees. I also got her spayed here about four years ago for $ 55. They did a good job on the spay, with a quick recovery and no scar. Amazing, unbeatable prices, so they are usually very busy. But I do feel like the ladies who actually handle your pet and treat them are real animal lovers and are good to them.

Dr. Mok had been the main Veterinarian there for years, but alas, he left. Dr. Davis was under his guise before he left. Fortunately that was for me, as I had adopted my fifth dog with some medical issues. Dr. Davis, as well as the other Vets have provided my dogs with excellent health care.
The office is a little hard to find, if you don’t have a GPS or are not familiar with the area, however it is worth the hunt. There is plenty of parking and generally there is a wait, but your pet will receive excellent and compassionate health care. Karen and the rest of the staff are warm and friendly and polite.
I am happy to have met Sharon at a fair in Surfside Beach, who directed me there. This is a great place for your pets healthcare.

When it was time for our little Hannah to be euthanized, the entire staff was so nice and so concerned. They even sent a sympathy card. This is a great place.
