This is the slowest service ever for a sandwich shop. I was the 2nd person in line and it took 10 minutes before someone even acknowledged that people were there. Then it took another 40 minutes to get my food. Worst managed restaurant I have ever seen. On top of that, when I got home and ate my sandwich, there was hair in it. If I could give 0 stars I would. It’s also an old run down place. I love the food but this location will never see me again.

Very poor management. I am quite surprised that the franchise has not shut this location down. The place is not kept up very well. Quite sure not to franchise standards. The employee radio music blasts from the back and the biggest issue is the food. Sandwich came was not delicious and the bread was dry and cracked. If you are looking for a good deli, this is not that place.

I now remember why I quit going to gandolfos. I can’t think of a way to say this and not offend someone but if you’re going to have someone customer facing they should be friendly and understand English. When I repeat my order 4 times and then the order comes and there’s not one part that’s right you shouldn’t be surprised when I say never mind and leave. Ridiculous. There are way to many quality sandwich places out there, I have no need to ever go back to gandolfos.

Very nice experience. I have had some bad service at a couple of the Gandolfo’s locations, but my wife and I made it here last night with about 15 minutes left before they closed. The service was relatively quick, the staff was very nice(every employee that saw us asked how our night was). I ordered the Throgsneck Bridge and is was very good. Special request of no onions was met(i know that sounds easy, but the way some places«handle» these sort of things is rediculous). All in all a pleasant experience and I will be back…

Downhill. Gandolfo’s used to be great. Now it’s no where close. I crave the Harlem breakfast sandwich and the only locations that do it right are Provo and Main Street in Salt Lake. This place got it all wrong. I don’t understand how they can screw up a delicious breakfast sandwich, but it just didn’t taste right. It’s frustrating. I can’t go back.

I don’t normally put in reviews to complain. Kinda always feel bad about it. $ 10 turkey avocado Swiss sandwich Hampton and there is no avocado. Same sandwich is $ 5 anywhere else. I recommend the soup kitchen up the road from here. Not sure why going there didn’t occur to me on this particularly sleep deprived day! My bad.

Their Bread id delish and i like the taste for the most part but for what you pay for its not great i held off on reviewing on my last trip but two trips and still not impressed… there was hardly any meat on my sandwich and at 6 $for a turkey sandwich there should be some turkey. I got the cold broccoli salad as well. Broccoli Was not fresh and cheese was soggy and they jipped me a drink wich i was just so glad to get out of the drive though after a ten min wait i didnt notice till i got back to work, i wont be back.

Enough is enough. They make good sandwiches here, but if you want any variation on how the standards are made(such as leaving off an ingredient), go elsewhere. We ordered four sandwiches, they managed to screw up three of them. Completely unacceptable.

I like Gandolfos but just not this one. Customer service sucks! Telemarketers give you better customer service. The lady that works there acts like you are bothering her when you place an order. I gave it one star because there is never a wait(probably because of her customer service). I never write reviews but felt like it should be known that the other Gandolfos are good and don’t let this location ruin it for the other locations

Buy one get one is my fav! Not only are their sandwiches awesome, their customer service is some of the best I’ve seen in the food industry.

Ok sandwiches in general. A little too pricey for what you get, which is lots of veggies and not enough meat. The bread is super soft & yummy though. I appreciate the red wine vinegar they use. If any sandwich has feta on it prepare to taste only that. My «New Yorker» was listed as a hot sandwich… but really they just heat the meat up and put it onto the rest of a cold sandwich. I’m giving this location only 2 stars because the parking sucks and I really wasn’t a fan… but the 2 stars is for the yummy bread. I might go back and try it again but for the money I’d really rather go to a locally owned(ie: not franchised) place.

I love the Holland Tunnel sandwich. My mouth waters every time I think about it. This location is hard to get to and the parking is terrible. Today they were having trouble with a new credit card machine. They do have a drive through that is a great idea for this location. Call ahead and have the sandwich waiting for you. I would give them 5 stars if the parking was not so hard!
