Cheri Theatres

It’s very good in everything except price. My ticket (by myself) was 8.50 plus like 6.30 for a small popcorn and drink. BUT everything else is really good. I’ve been going here for years.

I love the seating at Cheri. It is spacious and the aisles give ample room to walk past when needed. However, there are plenty of options for movies these days, and any option where I can avoid rude workers will be the option I choose. I have been here twice in two days (for the first time in over a year) and both times I was greeted by the rudest possible girls at the ticket booth. It wouldn’t kill them to smile or perhaps use some pleasantry in their voice. Several guests commented on their rudeness after purchasing tickets and my friend nearly said something to the manager. I never have this issue at the other two theaters nearby, so I likely won’t return any time soon. I don’t appreciate being glared at when I am helping keep your business in business.

The big theaters are pretty good. Only once seeing a film that has been out for a while we were stuck in a small non elevated theater. But all the other times have been good.

In Murray, this is the place to see popular films. The building is set back from the street, so it’s possible to drive by without noticing it. Once you find a parking space and get inside, it’s as comfortable as the typical suburban theater. Recently, we saw a 3D film: glasses were available and clean, and the 3D experience was as good as any I’ve had short of an IMAX, planetarium, or theme park.

Ok, I could be partial, they are a former employer of mine. But i do love this place, wonderful prices, extremely clean facilities and the best popcorn, no really i have dreams about this popcorn…

For a college town theater, it rarely has anything other than big Hollywood flicks.
