Cute shoes but so so rude. When the ladies aren’t busy giving you«b!tch face» they’re whispering amongst themselves. Don’t ask for a size because you’ll have to interrupt their conversation which they’ll reply oh we are out of that… Without looking. PASSONTHISONE. If I could go lower on the rating I would. Really rude.

Mad About Shoes is a cute store that sells not only shoes but bags and clothes as well. They have a wide range of prices from Havaianas to more expensive sandals. The best thing is they list the sizes that are in stock right on the shoes on these adorable little homemade tags. I really like the mom and pop feel and the two girls that were working were helpful and not pushy. Cute downtown spot!

I have yet to be disappointed walking in here. There is always something that catches your eye. The last trip opened my eye to the GREAT purse selection they have– not huge mind you, just really fun options. They also have jewelry by local artists that is worth perusing. With staff that is super friendly, its hard to pass up a stop into the shop.

I’ve popped in Mad About Shoes a few times when in Murphys. It is located right next to Kristine’s(clothing store). It is a very small shoe boutique which features shoes and bags. They carry Havaianas(really comfy flip flops), Born, Steve Madden and a few other brands. Being that it is such a tiny store they don’t have a large inventory but it is decent for Murphys. I would go there for the Havi’s… ;)

They sell $ 30 sandals to $ 350 high heels. Let’s just say they have a broad target market. If I was to buy a Stewart Weisman shoes and the like, I would want a variety like Neiman Marcus or Nordstroms would have. I must say they do have unique and attention-getting shoes like a black/red pock-a-dot heels. Many of the women shoppers on Main Street did have a Mad About Shoes bag so they must be doing something right.
