The service contractor was on time, professional, knowledgeable, efficient and courteous. I wish he was a carpenter, I would have contracted him to do more! Thanks Mike! Be well!

We had a great experience with Plano Garage Door today. We came home to find out that our garage spring had broke and the garage door opener had twisted the rails and bent the top garage door panel. I called Plano Garage Door and they politely took my call and sent out a tech within a few hours. Scott arrived and replaced the broken spring, straightened out the door and the rails, and made sure everything was working well. We couldn’t be happier with our experience with Scott and the company as a whole. I would highly recommend this company.

Our spring busted on the garage door and we needed quick service(we couldn’t open the door to get the cars out). The repairman showed up a few hours later and made quick work of the problem. He even lubricated the tracks and wheels at no charge. Only 4 stars because I thought the charge was a little steep, but no complaints about the promptness or quality of work.

I’ve come to realize that doing things yourself saves a s#!*load of money. Most of the time I run into projects or things breaking down around house that«recommend» professionals to contract out the work i cringe. I hate being the one to open the lube then apply before they rape you with charges for something that is so simple and with a little ingenuity can easily be done yourself. Well this week my garage door spring broke and I could not get my garage door open manually(who knew those things weigh up to 150 lbs). Well with the wifes car trapped inside the garage i better figure something out soon. As with some of my previous reviews of DIY topics i researched what fixing it would entail online. Normally I would shop a good price for parts on ebay or calling around, but today it would be better if I could just get the part asap and fix it today. I called a couple of places that had comparable prices on the part, but the others also engaged in the hard sell on having them do it for you, citing the dangers etc. I did my homework and knew what it entailed so again i was confident in doing it myself. PGDO was the closest to where I live, I called to make sure they had the spring and a quick trip there and back I was ready to tackle the project. It only took about 45 minutes to complete and all was fixed! all in all PGDO had what I needed(it was on the higher end of the spectrum pricewise than other places), but it was convenient to where i live, and made sure that knew what it entailed.
