Kwik Kar Lube & Wash

So I go to this Kwik Kar for a $35 platinum wash yesterday which include floor mat wash. After wash I find they not only did not clean the rear floor mats, but managed to loose one of retaining devices on driver side floor mat. So I complain to manager and she goes to investigate. An hour later she tells me to fill out a form and she will call me at close of business today or early tomorrow. I call back today since nobody attempted to contact me and get ahold of acting manager Eddie. He tells me he’ll order another car mat and I tell him I don’t think that will be necessary since I am just missing one little part and agree to drive my vehicle back to the business. I get there and Eddie tells me he just talked to manger from previous day and “they will not be able to do anything”. Horrible business practice. I bout 4 of the little retaining devices off Amazon for $8.99. Do not use this business, they not only do not care if they do the job, but you may not even leave the place with your vehicle intact.

Always come to this place. Great service and fast. Better to come during the week to avoid waiting. Getting a car wash after an oil change helps.

Went in for a hand wash on my new truck. Watched the guy pull it around back and spray it off and started to dry it. No soap, bucket anything… Notified manager and the female lied and said she saw him use soap… The male manager made them wash it again with soap this time… Thought all was good til I noticed 2 chips on my windshield… I can’t prove it but I know they weren’t there when I pulled in… I can’t believe they threw something to chip my window just because they half-​assed the job … Very disappointing these people can’t give you what you pay for and end up paying 10 times more for a window… Thanks Murphy Kwik car

They screwed my LandRover completely. Took my discovery for Oil changed and was told that I must have to do flush and clean because it’s too dirty. That was just a wrong info because I was told otherwise when I took it to my dealer. Overpriced everything. They tell you all kind of lies to sell something you don’t need. Bad bad place.
Will take my business to honest people who don’t do wrong for money.

Car wash: first time in and was pretty straight forward. Drive under the overhang to the left of the building and was greeted. Chose just the outside wash only for $ 10. Drove myself through the car wash and at the other end was greeted by workers who wiped down the outside. When they were done, walked around the vehicle… All looked good so tipped accordingly.

Tray and his staff are awesome! They know their stuff and don’t try to sell you stuff you don’t need. They go the extra mile with a Great big Smile!

I came for an oil change and they suggested to get the air filter changed so I said ok. They washed and cleaned the inside of the car and vacuumed it. It’s nice and clean but the only problem I have is the girl at the front. She didn’t give my receipt. She told me give me a second and I’ll get it for you then I sat and waited 15. I finally go up there and ask for it and she acts like she doesn’t remember and doesn’t apologize for making me wait for no reason. If it wasn’t for that I would have given this place 5 stars.

Very disappointed. Tried the 29.99 wash /​interior etc. Looks like hardly vacuumed and could tell seats were not cleaned at all. Water left in cup holders and smelled musky. Was not a good fragrance at all. Waited for cashier to return when it was done and then she had to look through trash for my receipt. She never offered one at the beginning so I assumed I would get it when finished. She never found it. Tried to find someone to dry spots on tailpipe etc and speak with a manager but no english. I now need to go try another place to clean it properly. Will take my business elsewhere.

I visited Kwik Kar after a horrible experience at Sear’s Auto. I was about to leave with my husband and two small children on a long road trip to San Diego to see family and needed to make sure my car was ready. I also had tail lights that had gone out and needed that remedied. My initial experience was great. The team was friendly and my car was worked on quickly, including a car wash and detail. Then it all went wrong.
On our way back from San Diego two weeks later, I was pulled over in Wichita Falls for broken tail lights. We were on a marathon drive from our last stop in Santa Fe and determined to make it home that night. My options were to either stay in a hotel there or drive several hours with my hazards on which is what we chose to do.
I brought the car back to Kwik Kar a few days later and was told that it was likely electrical and as the shop in Murphy did not have anyone with expertise in that area they sent me to the Sachse location. I asked them to make sure I could be seen that day and was assured that I could. I had a few short hours without my kids to get this done as the car seats were in my car. I got to the Sachse location and the gentleman was too busy to work on my car. Someone else attempted to fix the problem and after an hour’s wait I learned that he could not. Not only that but he smudged and stained the interior of my door in the process. I was told to come back several days later. I refused.
I took the car elsewhere that day and the mechanic was quickly able to realize that on my original visit to Kwik Kwik car, bulbs with a single filament were installed when double filaments were required. That was it.
While I have an issue with the fact that I was driving with my tail lights out with my children in the car, my main concern is that upon explanation of the problem when I returned I never received an apology or offer to fix their mistake. I understand human error and am forgiving but I was never met with anyone who seemed to care. Their mistake cost me money and time and I could have potentially been in an accident driving at night with my children in the car and no one cared. I would have had less of a problem if someone along the line said «hey, we made a mistake, let us make it right.» People were friendly until I brought up a problem and then no one could be bothered.
As an aside, that detailing that was included in he initial visit left me with a rash on my hands from the people who wiped my steering wheel with some product. For the entirety of my trip the skin peeled from my hands.
I will never return to Kwik Kar.

After a bad experience at the car wash across the street I immediately came to Kwick Kar for a car wash. My main concern was cleaning the interior. Since I just came from a car wash, I went with their basic package. For $ 12 I was surprised with the result. My car glistened in the sun and my interior was clean. Granted, it wasn’t perfect but for $ 12 it was clean enough for me. Compared to the $ 40 for the wash across the street I was happy with the result and the price at Kwick Kar.

We’ve been getting our oil changes here for 8 years. We’re always appreciative of their professional mechanic staff and don’t feel pressured to always do what they recommend, fluid change, etc. But their recommendations have always been minimal and never unnecessary up-​sales. Yes, the waits can be long but we typically try to go during the slower times of day. Great, reliable and consistent service, year after year!

This place is horrible! This is the second chance I have given them and the result is oil all over my driveway! I would understand if I had an old beat up vehicle but the fact is mine is only 14 months old and they are just SLOPPY. Bottom line is sloppy overpriced work… Don’t go here!

This place is always busy so prepare to wait. I came on a Monday afternoon thinking it wouldn’t be as bad as a weekend and still waited 2 hours. The lady behind the counter isn’t exactly a «go-​getter» and will yell out cars that are complete, even when it’s no ones car in the lobby and there are 10 people sitting outside waiting. I guess it never occurs to her to check outside… or she’s too lazy.
In addition… whether it’s an inspection or an oil change they will try to upsale you on EVERYTHING. Even the free car wash no longer becomes free. I get it, it’s a business but it is annoying and makes you wonder while you sit for 2 hours if you are being scammed. So far I haven’t had a bad experience, but I certainly haven’t had any good experiences either. That might be par for the course at an oil change place, but it still sucks.

Always slow. Terrible terrible car was everytime. I gave them 2 tries and each had to ask for them to wipe their greasy marks off my console. No more tries.

Got an oil change and inspection. On a Saturday morning they were well staffed and courteous. The mechanic was truthful and did not try to upsale me on services I didn’t need. The free car wash with the oil change is a nice touch.

Came here today with my mother to get our cars inspected and was VERY underwhelmed by the service.
Inspections went as inspections go, nothing to talk about here. The lady at the service desk was just lack luster. It seems like every customer that went was unhappy today. They wound up losing the car registration sticker that my mother asked them to put on the car during the inspection. How hard is it to keep a piece of paper from getting lost? to rectify the situation they gave her a free car wash and a small discount. THAT’S COOL, if i wanted swirl marks and scratches all over my car from shoddy car washing jobs.
I’ve always hated car maintenance but my family and I will not be coming back here regardless of the proximity of our home. You’re trusting these people to carry out the job that you pay them to do, and they do a terrible job of it.

Place is a little overpriced. Paid too much for an oil change but a decent car wash is included. Seems like they always want to find something wrong with the car so they can sell you something. Typical for a mechanic.
Place is open Sunday, which is nice. It opens at 10 in Sunday. If you aren’t here right at 10, then don’t bother showing up until noon. It gets busy right at opening.

Pros:
* Convenient location
* Complementary wash with oil change
* Diesel service
Cons:
* Usually pretty slow. I don’t mind waiting if everything is done correctly.
* Reception desk can be rude. Some are better than others.

I always take my truck here for oil change, maintenance and repair. They have great service and genuinely care about the customer and vehicle. Thanks

I have been coming here for many years. It was always pleasant and regular oil change. Sometimes they would alert me to something that needed attention.
Lately — for the last year– it has been a little pushier upsells. Many times for things I didn’t need. I am starting to suspect that they are breaking things. They just told me I needed a gasket because I had an oil leak. Car hadnt been leaking, so I didnt authorize the work. I suspect it will start leaking now when I get home.
Today I started thinking about taking my cars somewhere else.
