First time trying this restaurant. Ordered a pizza for takeout. The pizza was nice and hot when I got it. Ordered it with mushrooms, black olives, and onions. They only sell one size: large. I was really surprised at the price($ 20+), but thought you have to pay more for a good pizza. Unfortunately, this was not the case. The crust on this New York style pizza was soggy except for the very edges. The sauce was okay, but tasted like it was out of a jar. Definitely not worth $ 20. I’m hesitant now to try their regular menu.

You may have to drive a bit out of town for this glorious treat but its worth it. Piero and Petra are great hosts and its amazing that they work as hard as they do everyday! I could rant on for days about their food and drinks but just know that everything is great there and I haven’t had anything I didn’t enjoy. Favs: Eggplant rollatini, olive and mushroom pizza, cappuccino, chicken marsala Oh and Wednesday is buy one get one free take out Pizza!

This is the place to go for authentic Italian cuisine. I don’t know if the lunch buffet is still open, but it was great. Wonderful choices, at a great price. Dinner menu is fabulous, I’ve loved what I tried. The pasta with clams is heaven. The décor is sparse, but the portions are plentiful. If you haven’t tried this unassuming gem, you must get there.

Piero and Pietra are great! The pizzas are wonderful and the lunch buffet rocks. Who expects to meet real Italians and eat real Italian food in Murphy NC? Turns out there are two really good Italian restaurants in Murphy and the women are sisters.

Really good Italian home cooking, quite a find out in the mountains of NC. First generation and hard working, this family makes food with the best flavor I’ve had since Millie retired from NYC to the house behind ours in South Florida. Eating here brought back a flood of memories, I was her little guinea boy… sigh. Closed Mondays. And drive 55 getting there. Seriously.
