Interstate Welding & Steel Supply

Great welding and metal supplier but the prices are just to high to give them more than 3 stars. They pretty much have a monopoly on this area of WNC so they can charge full price because we have no other choice for metal in the area. Sure they have great customer service and almost every type of tool, welder, grinder, clothing, expendables, etc. But the prices are top dollar compared to similar suppliers in other larger cities. If you have a business account the prices get more reasonable but for ‘regular Joe’ its a bit pricey. But where else are you gonna go? Lowes? yeah right! They carry all the major brands and can get almost any metal materials you need. Will even cut it to length and deliver the metal to you if needed. Get your gases and bottles topped off here as well. I do appreciate having such a large supplier with a great staff in this area but it does come at a premium.
