I was bit unsure about this place at first, seeing as the place is very dim and the décor is awful. They have some strings with décor hanging from the ceiling and it is pretty tacky. The pictures on the wall with the young Thai girls are great, but the rest of the décor makes the place feel very dim and run down. However, the owner(and chef) was very attentive. I asked him for help on choosing what to eat seeing I had never tried Thai before. When I had selected the Crying Tiger Steak, I was pleased to find out that he would cook the food to the requested spiciness. My boyfriend ordered sesame chicken with chow mein. My grandfather ordered beef and broccoli. Everything came out insanely fresh and hot. I sampled the Sesame chicken and it was good, maybe a bit bland, but the rice mixed with the sauce was surprisingly good. The breading on the chicken was good. The Chow Mein was good as well. My steak came to the table on a steaming plate and was literally cooking as I ate it. It was cooked just right, and had obviously been marinated long enough for the flavour to set in. The spices over the top were just right, not too hot at all for me! I actually took the jucies and steak and mixed it in the rice, it was just too good. I took that home with me. Service was prompt, nice, and helpful. I was not a big fan of the broccoli and beef, but I will be returning with friends to sample everything possible from the menu.

Not a bad place to eat. Price is decent. Drunken Noodle was average, nothing special about the taste. Mango and sticky rice was not good.

Ehh. Visited here just today and we got the sesame chicken with shrimp and noodles and this other item on the menu that was supposed to be «popular.» I ordered a Thai bubble tea and got nothing near what a bubble tea should taste like. The waitress said they use actual Thai tea and not the powder, but my bubble yes tasted like a watered down icee and nothing near Thai tea. Before the food even came out there was a cockroach on the wall right next to us just crawling everywhere. So our food comes out and surprisingly my chicken smells like dog odor. This was very unusual and I’ve never experienced anything like it. A few minutes later another cockroach comes out so I got the waitress’s attention, who was only like 13, and she came over there with a napkin to kill it and it fell on the floor, I mean a supervisor could’ve at least came out to apologize or something. After this I had enough. I asked to speak to the manager and it took him like 5 min to even come out from back and when I told him I was dissatisfied with the food he told me you can’t just try the food and not pay for it, I don’t know who told you that. After mentioning that it’s a HEALTHHAZARD to have cockroaches near or around food he said okay well if that makes you happy… Um, regardless to say I was very unhappy and I’m glad I didn’t get food poisoning from the couple of bites I had.

The food is just incredible. WoW delicious. This is our second visit — and we were planning on coming here often to try all the menu items. Here’s the problem — I went back and peeked into the kitchen. So filthy — just can’t do it. Eventually someone will get sick. It won ‘t be me.

We decided to give this place another try last night because we wanted take out and it is the closest thai food near us. Our first visit wasn’t bad, but I really didn’t like their curry and wouldn’t order it again. On our second visit, I ordered the pad thai with tofu, my husband ordered the general tso tofu again, and we each got a veggie spring roll. I really liked the pad thai! Next time I will probably order it without abundance of onions but the flavor was good and the portion was decent. I do wish the tofu was cut into larger pieces. The general tso tofu was so good in my opinion. My husband thought it was too sweet and donut-like. After a few bites, I had to agree with him. The breading tasted just like a Chinese donut without the sugar exterior. I wasn’t complaining! However, it really may have been too sweet to eat an entire entrée of. He didn’t finish his(we switched plates at the end). The veggie spring roll and dipping sauce were as good as they were on our first visit. We will definitely eat here again when we want convenience and good food but hubs said he would order something different next time.

Didn’t impress me very much, the outside is under construction which is not the fault of the resturant, however the inside tables and chairs are extremely old and the décor is dated. We both choose the PANANGCURRY which according to the menu had Bamboo shoots one of my favorites, neither of our dishes contained one shoot, when I questioned the server she she answered ‘oh sorry about that’ however the curry was very tasty, don’t think we will return

I have been to Thai Spice several times and I have never been disappointed. The atmosphere is warm and cozy. The servers have always been attentive, but not over the top. I have had the Pad Thai, the Wonton Soup, the Spring Rolls and the food is always good, warm and just the right amount of heat. Please give this place a try.

Food and service was good. The summer rolls with plum sauce was very tasty! Phở was alright… I’ve had better, so that’s why I wasn’t too impressed. Overall, the restaurant was clean, the food had flavor, and the staff was very friendly.

Consistently good food, always great service. My take-out had a mistake and they fixed it quickly, even adding a free spring roll order.

Not enough coconut milk or curry in the red curry. Had to flag down the waitess in this very small not busy restaurant to get a refill on our drinks. Disappointed, because we love Thai food.

I’ve eaten here a few times, mostly because the other Thai place I liked was closed earlier. Thai Spice stays open till 9.30pm which is handy. I’ve had the Pad Kee Mow a few times and it’s okay. The food seems a little greasy to me, so I generally bypass this place and head elsewhere when I’m visiting. But if you are craving Thai food at 9.15pm, it’ll do.

A nice family owned restaurant and atmosphere. I’ve tried the core of the Thai dishes here, and for the quality, its way too overpriced. The thai portion of the food is very very average, but the price makes me frown. Nothing special.

This is a great restaurant. it is my favored place to get take-out. The vegetable pad thai is good and the vegetable rolls are delicious. The family that owns the restaurant are friendly and helpful. They are quick with the cooking and the service.
