The facility itself is very clean and well maintained. However my problem started when I left on short notice. I paid the rent and ended up moving out the very next day. When I spoke to the property manager Nicky about a refund or pro-rated rent, I was told that there is no way to give refunds. She said she would check with the Area Manager to see if it could be done. A few days later after not hearing anything from them, I stopped by and was told by Nicky that it is impossible to give refunds once payment has been made. However, I am looking at Unilocal reviews from other StorPlace locations where they got 5 stars because of their willingness to refund after a short notice move. So someone is either telling me a lie or StorPlace is writing their own awesome reviews. This is the first stop in many more officially registered complaints to come. $ 69.00 doesn’t seem like a lot of money but when you have just moved from an apartment into a house and with the holidays just around the corner, $ 69.00 is a huge deal.
