Worst restaurant in recent memory. Dinners don’t come with a salad or anything else. Sandwich doesn’t come with chips or fries. They only accept cash or check for payment. The food tastes okay and that is the only good thing I can say. I won’t be coming back. I suggest that you don’t either.

I’ll preface this by saying Italian is not my absolute favorite. That being said, this place is good, but not great. All the food came out hot with adequate serving sizes. It tastes«ok.» However my complaints may lie more with the service. Our appetizer, fried pickles, was brought out at the same time as the food. My tea refill was hot. Also, our waitress seemed less than thrilled with her job. This however is probably the best choice to eat in town.

Best place to eat in town. The food is fresh and the service is top notch. Most dishes are served within 10 minutes of ordering and are served hot. The wait staff is always friendly and helpful and the owners(Big Tony and Little Tony) always converse with the customers to make sure they had a great experience. My favorite menu items are the cheesesteak, baked ziti, and the calzone.

Napalis has one of those wonderful locally loved and enjoyed feels to it with signed booths and walls by patrons who have come and gone and then come again over the years. They serve great NY style pizza with a great array of choices of toppings and types of pizza that the whole family can love and enjoy! Though they don’t run any specials or coupons, the place is pretty competitive price whise with other pizza eateries of its kind in surrounding areas. Overall, this is a place that is a must to stop by if ever near Murfreesboro!

Going to lunch after church on a Sunday in the south means that you might have to wait a while for the meal because everyone is out for a meal at that time of the day. Being in a small town, and a college town at that, means that you might want to get a snack on the way to lunch, lest you starve. And you might want to add some more time to the schedule when the town has few restaurants, and you are heading to one that is known to be a good one. After all that foreshadowing, I can tell you that Napoli comes through with shining colors. They were able to seat our family group of 14 at a long table off the main dining room and get us fed very quickly. Within an hour of arriving, we had been able to study the menu, get the food, and spend some time visiting before leaving. Our waitress kept up with keeping the beverages filled and taking care of any other needs. The food: very good as well. The cheesesteak sandwich I had was tasty and had pieces of steak that were well done but not too chewy. The spaghetti meals looked good and didn’t stay on the plates for long. And the bread, both for the sandwiches and for the meals, was very good Italian bread. Besides the usual french fries and onion rings — which were nothing extraordinary but were quite acceptable — Napoli also offers homemade potato chips, sliced thin and fired. They are worth ordering as a side. Overall a good place to go, particularly when you would like a change from typical NC food — barbecue and the like. Of course that is hard to get tired of, but that’s a another story. One point to remember: Napoli does not take credit or debit card. You need to bring cash or checks for the meal. They do have an ATM in case you forget to bring either one. I would go there again and plan to do so when in the area again.
