Burger was excellent. Cooked to order, fresh, juicy, flavorful. Fries were good. Ketchup was off a bit. I don’t know if it was an off-​brand, or old, but it didn’t taste just right. Service was outstanding. Overall a positive experience, and I look forward to returning.

This place is what comes to mind when you think of a local burger joint. Nice waitresses, and great affordable food. They do a burger right here and you will find yourself craving it often after your first visit. The menu is short and simple, order a cheeseburger and tell them what you want on it, simple as that!

This is the best place in Murfreesboro to get a burger!
Very good quality, and I just about can’t eat a whole single cheeseburger. I’m a big dude, can’t fathom how people eat their double burgers alone…
The only things that kept them to a 4 star rating from me is the 70’s honky tonk atmosphere and the somewhat long wait for the food.

If you want a total dive, biker bar atmosphere, and an awesome burger — then this is your place! Honestly, I thought it was worth it. I enjoyed the music, too! :)
We both ordered a single burger and split a large order of fries. (Probably would have been full splitting a small order)
My only complaint is the non-​refills of coke products. But, that’s just my personal pet peeve.
Next time I go, I’ll make sure to get a beer to go with my burger!

We are definite fans of Busters Place. GREAT burgers, barbecue on Texas toast, fries and onion rings for a great price. We are never disappointed. The menu is limited to sandwiches, fried sides and small salads. They have grilled cheese for kids and chicken tenders as well. And it is a bar, but not a rowdy place. I have taken my grandson there. It is busy on Saturdays after sporting events, so it is def family friendly. Although, if you drove by you probably would not stop with your kids. Service is good and staff is friendly. And we like the music!

Wanted a juicy, sloppy burger and went based on recommendation from friend; burger was okay, as were the onion rings. It’s definitely not a kid friendly place; more of a bar feel burger joint. Menu was very limited with only 3 – 4 other options beside burgers. Decent, but nothing spectacular to me.

I really liked this place! Seriously pleasantly surprised. I had high hopes for the burger, as I was told they have the best burgers in Murfreesboro. The burgers were… good! Not awesome, but definitely a great bar-​burger, no doubt. Also, I had the chili which was perfect for the cold day.
They have large TV’s, so I might consider going back for a game sometime.
Also, they take credit cards now! (A previous review said they were cash only at that time.)
I’m definitely going back to Buster’s!

Where do I start. First off for the French fries way over priced for the 7 – 8 grease bombs on the coffee sauser.
Secondly there food standards are heathen at worst dangerous at best. Not impressed buy the line cook that handles raw meat and cooked meat with out gloves or washing his hands. Wiping plates on there shirts or aprons. I could go on for several pages.
Third, the piss poor cooking methods smashed burgers cold grease. I will not be revisiting this greasy spoon any time soon.

Update because of an ownership change I was recently made aware of.
The new owner (or latest owner because the sale might have happened some time ago) is a chef and has upgraded the menu with items like smoked wings. I had the new Smoked Turkey Pastrami on Texas Toast and it was excellent. I will definitely be back soon.
Oh yes, another plus: They now take credit cards!

They have a simple menu and no frills environment but you’re sure to get a good greasy burger with some pretty tasty French fries or onion rings. The burger is very good! They only accept cash so that keeps me from going more often.

I came to Murfreesboro to visit family and stopped here to eat while I was waiting for my car to be finishe’s at the tint shop down the road. The food is great the staff is friendly and I cant get over how cheap it was. I would recomend Busters to anyone

This place is just great! Yep, it is dated… but it is clean, the burgers are awesome, and the staff is friendly… and man they hustle! It takes awhile to get your burger, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. Just what a neighborhood Bar and Grill should be!

It was good, but not crazy good. I have heard so much hype about this place’s food that I was not sure what to expect. What I got was excellent service and a pretty damn good burger at a decent price. The hamburger that I got was extremely fresh and very good but I did not feel like it lived up to all the expectations that I had going in. Overall though, for the price, it can not be beat. This place is the definition of «no frills», but don’t let the outdated décor fool you its worth your time and money. Make sure that you bring some cash though, because they don’t take credit/​debit cards.

After 1 visit I’m loving this unassuming little place. Doesn’t look like it’s changed much in 50 years or so. (Sign over the bar: I made a deal with the bank; They won’t sell beer and I won’t loan money.) Lots of long time customers/​regulars. Felt like Cheers, Southern style.
No printed menus. It’s limited and it’s on the wall.
Fantastic Burger. (Yes, I capitalized, «Burger», but it deserves to be.)
Hand formed, probably an inch thick. Juicy and delicious.
They also have my favorite cheap French fries. Crinkle cut!
If you want an excellent Burger, go to Buster’s.

Had 20 burgers catered for lunch at our dealership (Alexander Ford) very short notice was given to Busters but they came through for us, awesome burgers and fries with all the fixins! Thanks guys, we will be back…
