I would give it zero stars if I could! The burritos are sloppy and not very filling. They need to cater more to vegetarians! Not every vegetarian loves rice and beans! Tofu! Duh! If they had tofu, this would be one of the best burrito spots in town. Until then, I will sick with Moe’s.

Overall, the Smyrna location is much better. The customer service in Smyrna is 10 times better. I also think the food tastes better there. This store Is also not as clean.

Fresh and clean. Not really what I would call a Mexican food restaurant. Only items I like are the fish tacos and pineapple salsa. It would be nice if the workers would crack a smile more often and that inclu. The rest of the meals simply seem like a healthy Mexican food joint. To each it’s own.

Luv the pineapple salsa. Fast and fresh food. Fruit tea is great. Small combo is all I need to get filled up. Really like the punch card’s for free burrito. Starting my 4th card. Usually go to the one in Murfreesboro, but the Smyrna location is just as good. But, a little bit smaller.

Lucas Reviewed — Highlight WEEKENDLUNCHSPOT LOTSOFFOODMADEINFRONTOFYOU — Plenty of room to find a seat after having your food made directly in front of you. Their efficient and the service was friendly. What else? The prices were a little higher than I expected, however, your student ID will help bring that down a little. There is a sauce bar with several options, standard, but nothing to bring you back in the door again. The Hmmm ??? When you walk in there is a feeling of potential cleanliness issues. I always find myself looking down and at the furniture. Everything above the waist seems good, otherwise. Meh. I ordered fish tacos Baja style and my husband got a vegetarian burrito. The chips and guacamole were good. The fish tacos as a whole weren’t bad but the fish on its own tasted like the cheap, overly breaded fish sticks you had when you were 5. Otherwise I appreciated the use of cabbage, cilantro, and corn tortillas. All in all, it was decent but not so supreme that I am counting down the days until my return.

When you walk in it’s a place for families and friends. I ordered a bowl with no meat, my husband got a burrito. The food was really good, the honey mustard sauce was great. Food was fresh and the staff was helpful and friendly. The chips were fresh and tasted great. I would go back or recommend someone.

The food was okay. Nothing spectacular. What made the whole experience bad was the crowded dining area. The tables and chairs are old and wobbly. Parking lot is very small and confined. If we go again I will probably just run it to get it to go.

Mediocre burrito. Ingredients seemed to be pretty fresh but the meat was disappointing. Relatively decent price for the amount of food you actually get. It’s got a chipotle feel to the joint. Cool place to have lunch with a bunch of people, the tables are not bolted down and you could accommodate a sizable group. My review may be jaded, depending on where you are from. I’ve definitely been spoiled for having been born and raised in California around real authentic Mexican food.

Being from California I wasn’t overly impressed with the fish tacos at Blue Coast… but since living in TN I’ve learned to lower the bar when it comes to Mexican food. The prices are great and the service is equally as great! Good enough for me!

Blue Coast Burrito is one of my favorite Murfreesboro establishments. Great fresh ingredients, moderately priced, fun ambiance(baja/surfer themed), outdoor seating, fruit tea, salsa bar, student discount, what more could you want? It’s places like this that I’m proud to tell people about as a resident Murfreesboro. This town gets sort of a bad rap for being a town full of chain restaurants of mediocre quality, so it’s cool that we also get great places like Blue Coast Burrito(which is a regional chain, but you’d never know it by the vibe), JoZoara’s, Goodness Gracious Café, Maple Street Grill, etc. :) Oh, and how did I almost forget — the baja fish tacos are the best thing ever! Go there and eat them!

As an Australian-transplant in Tennessee I know nothing about burritos, but I do know good food and Blue Coast has it. I always order the fish tacos because they are yummy. They have a selection of salsas that are tasty. I come here a lot for lunch with my friends.

It may not be an authentic burrito, but it sure is tasty. They’ve also got a couple surfboards and half a modified dunebuggy inside. There isn’t a lot to say about this place. They have great burritos, reasonable prices, several different types of salsa and some great fruit tea. If you haven’t been, go. If you have been, go back. Fat Guy Approved!

Good, cheap food and pleasant atmosphere. It’s basically the«watch them make a burrito in front of you big as a baby’s head» formula similar to Moe’s and other chains, but Blue Coast, like it’s Nashville cousin Baja Burrito, just tastes and feels more real and local. Actually, forget the big honking burrito, get the fish tacos. It’s hard to find them in the South and theirs are particularly good. It’s all about the sauce. Baja Burrito is where I learned to crave fish tacos, but the one’s in the ‘Boro are just as good. Also go crazy with all the homemade salsa’s, from sweet to spicy.

Blue Coast excels at giving you a burrito worthy of making you loosen your belt. With a variety of choices to slap in that tortilla you will leave full. Having been a Southwest Moe’s customer, which while good, Blue Coast is definitely better. Eight bucks should fill you up.
