I love shopping at target but man I came home to visit and non of the targets here in the region have friendly cashiers. It’s upsetting! This location we had a cashier freak on us for no reason, made no sense lol. Will I ever return?! Not at this location that’s for sure. This target never use to be this way. It’s sad!

They say that Target has the same target market as Neiman Marcus, but you do have to be careful with quality sometimes. After all, it’s not Neimans. Aside from that, I do like this place simply because you can find whatever you need here in terms of trends and convenience. However, I don’t like the women’s wear clothing. It’s just a weird variety of trends and basics and I never know what they are aiming for. It’s just that area that bothers me the most, because it’s just not my overall style, and I like Target. Frankly, and not to go into anymore detail, most of the products are overpriced, like food products. So, I only shop in there for convenience. The only reasonable stuff out there are make-up, toiletries, paper and school products, home products, you get my point. You especially can’t go wrong with paper(or maybe?). It’s mainly that no matter what store you go to, these products are fixed in price range. So, you can’t go wrong with that. Overall, it’s an oversized convenient store. It really is. You can buy home décor and furniture out of convenience and everything else. Target is good for stuff like that, but I like it. It’s convenient!

The cleanest Target I’ve ever been too. Customer Service needs some work. I was trying to print a registry and after 3 tries, I asked for help and was told the printer was broke. Anybody ever hear of an out-of-order sign? When I can’t find an item on the shelf, it’s easy to find a team member to find it for me.

The best Target store in the Chicagoland area. A well maintained store and a friendly staff. The worst thing about this store is that eventually, your favorite employees tend to leave when promoted.

This Target is a joke. The cashiers are the worst, laziest, slowest people in customer service I’ve ever encountered. The store is CONSTANTLY in shambles. I don’t know whether to blame the incompetent management or the fact that kids and teens run rampant in this store. I go to the freakin’ Calumet City target now because it’s that much nicer. Calumet City, seriously.

Love this store, great customer service, awesome selection of clothes for kids and shoes. Love the style of home décor, expecially bathroom décor. Not too expensive. And a plus that there is Starbucks in the store, makes me come more often.

The Munster Target is a portal to hell. Their customer service department is one of the worst in the area. On one occasion I had an item ring up the wrong price. I asked if she could verify it and she told me no, she didn’t have time to do that. Instead, she suggested I go to customer service, which I did. Customer service said there was no such sign in the aisle – without bothering to look. I disagreed. The lady at the desk said if I thought there was a sign I could bring it to her, because she wasn’t going to walk back there. So I did. I brought her the sign for the product I had tried to purchase as well as every single sign in the entire aisle. I finally received the correct purchase price. Around Christmas I had brought in an ad for a different store for price matching and was told they only price match certain stores. WHAT? I can see saying we can’t match online only retailers like Amazon, but why in the world can’t you price match Best Buy or Barnes and Noble? I only shop here when I absolutely need to get something. I hate that every single time I’m asked about their credit/debit card. i hate that they have 85 check out lanes and 2 are open. I hate that Satan runs their customer service counter.

Pharmacy here is quick and produces quality friendly service! Couldn’t be happier with the staff behind that counter. Especially after my experience with CVS Pharmacy. The rest of the store is clean, organized, and staff is polite as well. Keep up the good work.

I am a bit upset with the customer service at this Target. They never have enough cashiers and there is never anyone around to help you out. The cashiers take hours to ring a person up, it isn’t that hard, you swipe the barcode and move onto the next item. Super annoying especially when only 1 cashier is open and a huge line is unnecessarily piling up.

Their Starbucks is understaffed. No reason for customers to be ignored for several minutes because only 1 person manning register and preparing orders. I walked out before I was even acknowledged.

This is just a great Target. The employees, are quite friendly. It’s well laid out, lots of good clearance items. I am never disappointed here. I just went tonight and saved about $ 30 with coupons, that doesn’t even count the wonderful sales they had. I’m a fan. It’s extremely clean, 99% of the time, though I did have one really nasty experience with their bathrooms all being out of TP and all having pee on the seats — hence the 4 instead of 4 stars. But, it’s a great Target and we go there a LOT. :)

This is my favorite Chicagoland Target. The store is clean and organized. There are a ton of merchandise. Since it’s in Northwest Indiana, that means I’m saving a few pennies because of the lower sales tax and the merchandise seems to be priced a bit cheaper. There are always plenty of check out lines so the line is never very long. I do have to mention one experience. I’ve been using reusable bags for the past 3+ years. When I told the cashier that I brought my own bags, she gave me a blank stare. After a pause, she said that I could bag my own items. I told her that«No, you can bag them for me, I just want to use my own bags.» She agreed but looked at me as though I had a second head. As I was leaving, she asked why I brought my own bags. When I told her that it was for the environment, she looked completely perplexed. I didn’t have the time to explain the premise. Maybe next time when I’m feeling more patient.

I’ve been here a couple of times & was impressed with the cleanliness of the store & the good customer service. Even though I try to avoid chains, the Starbucks crew were really sweet & Target offers better quality than the ever despicable Walmart.
