Running or Not ...Shoes

The service was fantastic. I walked in and Heather, the owner, helped me select a pair running shoes that I now swear are the best running shoes I ever bought.

I was on vacation and found this hidden gem. My husband has foot issues and has tried many shoes but they seem to just collect dust in our closet. Heather, the owner, personally fitted him on a machine that read all of his pressure points and made a unique report. She recommended special custom inserts just for him that he can use with his other shoes. Just like she advised, the other dusty shoes in our closet came back to life!!! Amazing!!!
I LOVED the Dansko collection and ended up getting super cute sandals! I also bought some Brooks and they make me feel like I’m walking on air! Love Love Love them!!! In addition to the inserts, my husband also bought really cool Merrell hikers and LOVES those too. The best part about this store is the KNOWLEDGEABLE staff and selection of shoes, socks and accessories. They carry all the HIGH END GREAT QUALITY brands. The cool thing is they will special order shoes just for you if you want something they don’t have. We are happy about that since we live out of state. The customer REWARD program is also very generous! It’s saved in their computer so we don’t have to mess with carrying a card around for our next purchase. Heather and her staff are very friendly and caring about your personal comfort and go above and beyond in Customer Service! I LOVE this shoe store and will be back on my next trip!!! Great assortment of footwear for men, women and children, from athletic to casual and formal. Large variety of socks and inserts, as well. Staff is friendly, and not pushy like many other shoe stores.

These are the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever worn. It’s hard to find stylish and comfy shoes but this place has them.

What a great new addition to the Munster area. Running or Not Shoes is spacious inside with a wide variety of shoes meant for comfort. I visited the store during the grand opening and was highly impressed. Not only did I purchase a pair of shoes for myself but my daughter got a pair of Brooks and loves them. I also purchased a pair of socks that are so comfortable and unlike any other sport socks I own. Definitely getting a few more pairs! The owners are great and the staff are extremely knowledgable. I will be back.

My experience with the staff at Running or Not Shoes was beyond comforting. The staff and owners had so much information on how to make the right decision on both shoes and socks. I never though a pair of socks could compliment a pair of shoes with such comfort that my feet were not sore at the end of a long day. My wife purchased a pair of Brooks for my four year old and she loves them, she uses them for indoor soccer. Nancy purchased a pair of shoes and socks that she loves. I also have a pair of Brooks that are so comfortable with the Balega socks and I could not be happier. Being a diabetic it’s important that I have good comfortable shoe and this works for me. Im a satisfied customer and will be going back. Keep up the good work

Wow! I highly recommend this place. I really got the sense that they care about me and my comfort! The owner is very knowledgeable and doesn’t try to sell me something I don’t need. I was going to buy inserts with my new pair of shoes like I have done in the past at other places. But she said that I may not need them now and why waste the money. They have them there if I feel that I need them later. They earned my business!
