Ate here earlier this week on vacation– it was so good we came back again! Loved the cheesesteak and the sweet potato fries are super good! Fun atmosphere for Steelers fans. I didn’t wear my Broncos sweatshirt! Friendly waitstaff and very reasonable prices!!! Highly recommend for a low key casual dining experience.

It’s not what it used to be… They advertise a $ 7.95 lunch special in the paper but when you get there it’s $ 8.95 or $ 9.95. They used to be known for big sandwiches and fry’s, now your lucky to find half the meat on the sandwiches and the fries are a soggy mess… It’s fine to raise your prices, but don’t lower the quality and portions of your food also. Maybe time for new kitchen management…

Excellent samdwiches. Great friendly service. And a great beer selection. We visit haywoods about once a month and always gray service and great food. I had the Crosby sandwich husband had the steak salad.

This is probably one of my most favorite places to eat. I’m quite the food snob according to my friends so that may say a lot. Despite a few waitress issues the food has always been delicious. My review is based primarily on the food aspect of this establishment. Although there are a couple crappy waitresses most of them are great at their job. I have two favorites here. I suggest trying the buffalo chicken stix and the Alfredo pasta dish. The brew fries are also great!

Awful! Waitstaff is miserable, food was horrible! Order a sandwich that came with fries. The Fries looked like they were refried and refried and refried. The sandwich on the other hand looked like it was good and tasted ok. Little did I know it would revisit my mouth in the middle of the night. Stomach hasn’t been the same since! My husband and I have given this place too many chances! Every time it has been a huge let down! We’re done!

We’ve had some pretty good meals here, but nothing exceptional. Most notably, the ciabatta roll that the chicken cheesesteak was served on, was great. However, I don’t think a roll should take center stage. Twice I’ve ordered the mushroom planks and both times they were overlooked and rock hard. Anyways, today was the 5th and last time I ever go to Haywood’s. I ordered the chicken taco. What I got was a large flour tortilla, a bunch of lettuce, slices of tomatoes, mozzarella cheese and what tasted like pre-packaged chicken. There was absolutely no taco seasoning. The only thing that remotely made it seem like a taco was the little side of sour cream and salsa. I’ve given this restaurant enough chances. It’s clearly more than just an «off day».

Went with a large group and our orders all came out slow. Two in our group never got their meals, the waitress said the computer messed it up. They had us upstairs and their seemed to be cold air blowing the entire time. Also they gave half our group smallish chairs that were not very comfortable. The food we got wasn’t bad but it was partially cold because I am assuming it had sat somewhere. Try this place with a couple people you might be ok as long as the portions and greasy food don’t get you.(The fresh fries are very greasy laden)

Waitress was horrible. We waited forever for our food. Only got one refill on our drinks. 2 people didn’t get their meals, one was a child and he hadn’t eaten all day. She kept saying it’s coming I’m so sorry, it’s on it’s way. We all finished by the time the two people got their food. Waited forever for our bill. Apparently the computer went down. Food wasn’t very good.

If your waitress is older and Uhm not pretty, watch out she’s not cool. We went in as a group of 8 to order drinks while we signed a lease agreement. She became VERYVISABLY annoyed when we said we would order our meal ‘after a while’. And then when we did begin ordering appitisers she again was visably annoyed we didn’t order entrees YET. Update — every other waitress ive seen here is pleasant and willing to please. I can say the prime rib wrap is good the burgers are alright but that huge hot dog they have is gross. It seriously tastes like the cheapest hot dog ever made.

Haywood’s is a typical sports bar and restaurant. They have great décor(stools made from beer kegs) and a large menu. I love their french fries, sandwiches, and pizza. Their prices are very reasonable. I can easily find a meal for $ 8 or less on the menu. It does get busy and their parking lot isn’t able to accommodate for all of the customers. You may find yourself having to park a block away but it isn’t a total inconvenience for me. Overall, a nice sports bar and a great place to eat in Muncy.

Hmm, I’ve been to Haywoods a few times for lunch while in the area for work, and have also had cocktails after work hours. All of my experiences have been great. Good food at a good price(think delicious American style bar food). They have a full bar at cheap prices and seem to usually be offering drink specials. The place also seems to never be empty which is a good sign. The only knock I have, which I think I may have listed in my «tip», is that the portions are MASSIVE. There is no way a normal human who consumes a normal amount of food could ever finish any of their plates(I struggle to eat half). I personally think it’s a big waste, but some people may think of it as a «positive». The food prices are good, so why in the world wouldn’t they cut the portion sizes down by 33%, to normal human sizes, and pocket the extra profit? Regardless of portion size, this is the best spot in Muncy, with Orlando’s down the street coming in at second.

We were in a large party of 25. The room was very warm to the point of being uncomfortable. Several orders messed up. Tell waitress that that’s wrong and she pull out her order sheet and tells you that not what you ordered. She wrote it wrong but tells you that you ordered it wrong. This happened to several in the party. They had one waitress for 25 people.
