Muncie has gotten a lot hipper and funkier since I moved to Indiana. And in this growing artsy district is Yarn Stories, a new (opened in January) yarn shop in a really cool shotgun unit in the middle of a block.
The front room has a beautiful window display, and houses the yarn and notions and so forth. Next is the room that I assume holds the knit-​ins and spin-​ins. The restroom is nice (always important in a yarn shop!) and kind of an interesting two-​stage space itself.
The owners are lovely ladies, friendly and helpful, and most important of all, THEY HAVE A BUNNY! He’s an angora named Stitch, just growing out of his baby fur, and when i stopped by, covered in shredded paper bedding and a little put out about it; but adorable all the same.
