What a great place for Muncie! It’s a nice place that I can have a quality craft beer for a decent price and my wife can have a mixed drink. It’s unique in that it’s a solid brew house, yet it offers other things for the non beer drinking crowd. It balances well also between a bar and a restaurant. Basically you get the best of both worlds. We went on a Saturday night, there was a 40 minute wait and the place was packed out. So we took a seat at the bar. The actual bar it’s self is HUGE! Yet doesn’t feel like it. They had I believe about 5 bartenders working the bar. We did not have to wait long to be waited on or for our beverages to arive. These people were constantly moving in a fluid manner. Our bartender was pleasant, personable, and knowledgeable. We were shown to our table where fresh Indiana sourced popcorn waited for us to snack on. There was a small array condiments that you could add to it. In a short amount of time our waitress took our order. She also was pleasant and professional. I never had that feeling that she was«working the tip.» I HATE when they do that. Just pleasant and efficient. For as busy as they were, we never felt rushed so they flip the table. Our food arrived in a reasonable amount of time. Of course there’s a slight wait, this AIN’T McDonald’s. I was curious and found out that there pizza dough is all made in house as well as all of there toppings are hand prepped fresh daily. So I guess nothing is coming in frozen in those big bags. Which would explain why our pizza was TOPNOTCH. I strongly recommend this place. It’s big without feeling big. The Three Wisemen beers on tap are excellent. They have growler fills. They offer craft bourbons. Service is great. Food is made fresh. And best of all they offer FRESHJALAPEÑOS, not those nasty things that come from a jar.

I have to agree with the other reviews about the parking. If you are not familiar with the area it is difficult to find somewhere to park. Our service was very good and our server was helpful with ordering beer and anything on the menu. The pizza was phenomenal. The thin crust was out of this world, and also good the next day. The only downfall was that they were out of the popcorn they give out to each table by the time we got there. This is definitely a place to check out in the Muncie area!!!

Wow… what a disappointment. Went here with two other couples for our usual eating out pleasures on a Friday night. None were had here. Parking was not posted well… had to circle the block again to get to it. Waited about ten minutes for a table then were seated at 6:30. After 10 minutes of no waiter we flagged down one for a drink order… and by that time our dinner order. Our waiter wrote down our salad and pizza orders as if he was taking a final exam. That was the last we saw of the waiter at our table. After one hour of total no service we got up and left. Told the staff at the door about our lack of service and all we got was a weak… sorry. How tough was it to get six beers to the table? Pathetic!

See Preston P review. I was part of group. He is not exaggerating. Never in my life have we walked out of a restaurant, but we had no choice.

First things first, parking was difficult to find. There’s a tiny sign and we had to circle around the building twice before we found where to actually enter. The restaurant itself is very inviting on the outside and has a rustic, warming charm indoors. The service was not very good. Our server didn’t seem to know much about the food and had to go ask someone else about every question we asked. It took 15+ minutes to receive our appetizer(egg rolls) which came out slightly cool. We never even received the free popcorn until I asked another server for some. I had the«chop chop salad», which was very good. The fresh feta, local bacon, and other ingredients made for a great salad and the soup was delicious as well. My two friends had the bruschetta based pizza, which was very good, and the BBQ chicken sandwich, which was messy and fell apart. The BBQ sandwich had WAY too many chips with it and were overly salted. If you go, get the pizza and you will not be disappointed, although, you might be with the service. We also agreed as a group that there should be a burger or two on the menu.

I walked in and was excited to see that they had a decent spirits selection. When I asked for a Templeton Rye old fashioned I was looked at like i was crazy. A second bartender comes up to me asking about the cocktail saying, «I’m sorry I’ve just never heard of it.» The oldest cocktail in the book! I told them not to worry about it. After that he proceeded to ask me if he could try to make me one and eventually I said yes. Taking a chance on him getting a drink right for me that would cost at least 10 bucks… It wasn’t good. The carnitas nachos consisted of a pile of over seasoned chips smothered in nacho cheese, BBQ sauce, and topped with the tiniest sprinkle of carnitas(pork). After barely touching the nachos, I tried the carrot cake and asked for a scoop of ice cream which I was told would be a $ 1 add on. The small scoop came out 5 minutes before the cake and melted fast. I asked for a cup of coffee. The bartender came back shortly after apologizing and saying that they just dumped the coffee pot out. I asked if they were making more and she responded by telling me, «Maybe you shouldn’t order coffee this late.» It was 8pm. The bill came. Nachos were on there twice. The ice cream was $ 2.50 and my drink wasn’t on there. I thought maybe a manager comped my drink because, I clearly wasn’t feeling it. The bartender acted like he couldn’t take the bill to the manager to fix the mistakes and offered to pay for the dollar fifty difference, out of his pocket(guilt trip?) I had to explain to him to take the bill to his manager and ask them to please fix it. I got the bill back and it was more than before when it had the 2 nachos on there because they forgot to add my watered down 11 dollar pendleton old fashioned. All said. I really, truly wanted this place to be a nice addition to Muncie. I’ve tried several times since this occasion and was still quite let down.
