Sports Plex

Delta High School moved their cross country invitational meet from the Water Bowl to here. It’s probably less remote for most of the area teams, though Delta itself was close to the other venue.
There doesn’t seem to be much in the way of parking, especially considering that they have a few fields. We parked on the grass and the drive way, if you can call it that – is fairly maintained, but not great and no worse than the Water Bowl. Of course, you’re not supposed to be going fast enough that you could really do damage to your vehicle anyway.
Delta High School was able to lay out a «aesthetically-​pleasing course», as I was told, so apparently the maintenance crew mowed the grass accordingly. It was quite striking. Compared to the Water Bowl, it turned out looking like a professional event.
