Bell’s Mid-West Appliance Service

We so appreciated how quickly our dryer was serviced and how clear Paul was in explaining what had gone wrong. We will use Bell’s Appliance Service again in the future for any other needed repairs.

After 20 years, the Whirlpool dryer stopped heating. We started shopping around for a new washer and dryer, figuring in 20 years there had to have been advancements. What we found was that there had been advancements in washers, but dryers are basically the same. So a check of Google and YouTube showed that the heating coil most likely had given out.
It took less than 30 mins to take the heater out. The nice lady at Bell’s said to bring the whole heater out to the shop, they would test it before I bought the replacement. I did. They did. The heater coil was broken, I took the new one back and installed it, and battened down the hatches. I plugged it in, turned it on and everything worked.
Bell was very helpful to make sure I had identified the broken part and making sure I bought the correct part and only part I needed. Their shop is located in the A frame home that they live in. Mr. Bell has been in appliance repair for almost 40 years. I would highly recommend them for any do-​it-​yourself appliance repair person out there.
