I Love this place. When i need to sneak away and hide from the world I go here. It’s worth the ride and if you are in the area even better.

Great coffee, and a nice cozy environment. One of these days I’d like to sit an relax inside this place and enjoy it, instead of being on the run.

Not my first time here, but definitely my last. I ordered 3 items that were on their overly priced menu(with no exceptions or variations I might add) and got home to only 2. There wasn’t much of an apology, and it especially ticked me off because I overlooked a lot of horseplay among co-workers and talking while the staff forgot, I mean made, my order. Go to Panera!

I am at least thankful that the only coffeeshop for miles is one as good as Crescent Moon. Like everyone’s mentioned, the coffee drinks are good. I hear they have great hot chocolate, as well, and a selection of teas. I believe they do fair trade which is why the prices can get high, but honestly that’s comparable to Starbucks. The atmosphere is very comfortable, but because it is the only café like it around, I’ve occasionally found it hard to find seating due to popularity(but that’s not their fault). I dock a star because I always find the pastries to be disappointing. Sandwiches and such are decent, though. Like the Unilocal rating says, summed: I’m a fan.

This place is super cute. Awesome hangout spot, super friendly staff, good tasting drinks, and the food is pretty tasty. I love love love the cosmic grilled cheese. The only problem is how pricey this place is ! My iced coffee flavors I get can cost me $ 5+ and even being that expensive I feel like I never get a lot of coffee ! Too expensive for such small portions in my opinion. But still a cute place to go once in a while.

They have the best hot chocolate ever. I wish their prices were lower though, that’s the only downside!

On my last day of visiting friends in NJ they recommended we try this coffee place as we hit the road Sunday morning, their only warning was«be patient as they take time with your order because they do it all by hand». I was a little bit at a loss pulling into the parking lot, coming from WNY most of the coffee shops that I visit are not in shopping plazas but stand-alone locations or built into older structures that don’t have this commercial feel. The store front does no justice, walking in you feel warm and cozy and can see that this place is a great place to meet and possibly do some work and study. I loved the decore along the windows as it appears to be old burlap sacks used to hold beans and I loved the glass containers alone the wall holding the variety of roasted beans. For my meal I ordered a large Americano, which I considered on par with usual Starbucks. I drink it black with some cinnamon so the quality of the roast is not really masked by creams and sugars and this cup was great. I also ordered a breakfast sandwich, made to order and a little confusing. It was an everything bagel, egg, the sharp cheddar and bacon and I grabbed an apple/cranberry scone for later. I’m not sure why I had to mention I wanted egg since that is usually the base of a breakfast sandwich however everything was a delicious minus a few fuzzies that appeared both on the scone and sandwich, if I ever travel back through this area it will be another stop!

Absolutely love this little shop! We visited here for the first time last week while on vacation. It has an awesome vibe and great coffee. Love the atmosphere and the people are super nice. Highly recommended stopping if you are near by and are wanting some great coffee.

Good coffees and snacks. Prices a bit more than I like but in line with boutique coffee shop. Free wifi and comfortable chairs abound so not a problem relaxing with a speciality coffee.

Don’t ever try ordering green coffee beans from this business. I had an agreement set up with the owner to order from her once a month. The owner made it clear to me from the beginning that it was a hassle for her but they’d do it. Nearly half my orders were incorrect or when I went to pick them up I was told that most of the order was out of stock. When they did have it the coffee was mediocre at best and overpriced. I was told I could only order certain types of coffee and was treated like nuisance by the owner. They’ve lost my business and the multiple people that were ordering with me.

From my few experiences the service is pretty friendly and helpful but for some reason nothing’s ever HOT. I’ve gotten tea a couple times and hot chocolate and the hot chocolate was almost cold. Never really tried any of the food but it’s so so really. Couldn’t use wifi last time either :/

The highlight here is definitely the coffee. Coffee is really good! They have free wifi and the typical coffee shop pastry and bagels fare. We got the bagels and cream cheese, also good. But what I will remember about crescent is the coffee:)

Meh. Because it’s a small independent business, I like to support it. But honestly, a Starbucks in town would unfortunately run these guys right out of business. Why? Because: 1) their drinks are just okay. It really depends who is making your drink or how many hijinks are going on behind the counter that day in order to determine the quality of your drink. Most of their specialty drinks are just way too heavy and leave you feeling slower than when you came in, despite the caffeine. That said, they’re still better than Dunkin’ Donuts. 2) their food is blasé. We’re always left disappointed with their food, always. It’s tasteless, bland, the texture is never satisfying. It’s like they take mediocre pre-made food from elsewhere and sell it as their own… 3) the wifi, oh the wifi. They advertise«free wifi» outside of their shop but it NEVER works. Take it from someone who doesn’t have wifi at home and frequents this place in hopes to get it. If you can connect, you’re lucky to get to even load. You can always see people walking in with their laptops, buying a coffee, getting situated, and then looking around the café at the other people with laptops to see if they’re having problems, too. On a «good» day if their wifi is working, you can’t connect to the iTunes stores or any type of downloading or streaming website to get anything you might need a chunk of wifi for. That being said, there’s an xfinity hotspot right next door that you can access from the café for 1 whole free hour. If you are in need of wifi, check to see that their wifi is actually working before you donate in the form of purchasing a drink. Otherwise, use the xfinity hotspot. The McDonald’s across the street has wifi and so does the Gloucester County library down Main Street. If you need coffee, this is the only place you’re going to get it locally until they get some healthy competition and have to finally up their standards.

Once you start coming here, you’re hooked! Crescent Moon is definitely a good standard by which all other coffee shops should abide. There are quite a few comfy couches, a fireplace, and obviously regular tables for sitting. The staff is always easygoing, friendly, and knowledgeable about the beverages. As far as the drinks, I tend to go for traditional coffee and they have a great selection of beans from all over the world and will always brew a flavored one for people who aren’t quite as purist. I believe the coffee is brewed in normal manner, but can be done pour over upon request. If I’m feeling crazy, their lattes are a great fix! There are tons of different flavors(great for people like me who don’t have much of a sweet tooth) and special ones that are on a seasonal basis. Not to mention the tea selection is large and varied for people who are not coffee drinkers. Their food and baked goods are also wonderful! My favorite breakfast food was a croissant with bacon, egg, and cheese but there are plenty of options such as mac and cheese, paninis, soup, cookies, tarts, etc; All stuff that’s fairly typical for a coffee shop that serves food and it’s done really well. In my opinion, this has everything someone would be looking for in a coffee shop. Great ambiance, staff, food and, of course, coffee!

I usually come here on Sunday mornings after grocery shopping to pick up a pound of whatever delicious coffee my husband wants, and to get a fresh smoothie for myself. The staff is very friendly, the pastries are amazing and their smoothies are quite delicious. I recommend them to anyone.

Good find! Parking is plentiful in the shopping center, but watch crossing the street to the shops, it’s really busy. They took a while to make my iced latte, but it was VERY busy. My snickers latte was good, fresh beans, good sweetness! I didn’t eat but many others were, seemed like the food took a while. The seating was cramped and though there was quite a bit, it’s VERY busy at midday/early afternoon. I grabbed one table but waited for a table near an outlet to plug in my laptop. The WIFI is good, the code is on the board, not sure what that one guy was whining about below! The fun part was the people watching/listening. One lady really had a lot to say. To everyone. But hey, free entertainment!

The coffee and food is very good! I probably eat lunch here about once a week, the service is kind of slow but that’s because everything’s made to order and they are always super busy! The workers are all very friendly!

The truffle latte is amazing and all of the food I’ve tried from there has been tasty. I wish it wasn’t always so crowded, but I suppose that means they are doing something right!
