I have tried the fish, chicken fried steak, and fried chicken… All very good. We have also tried several different pies… Coconut cream is great as well as the carrot cake. Wait staff was nice as well. A nice little restaurant to be in such an out of the way place. A nice surprise!

Good food and good service. Everything was fresh and well presented. Steak didn’t have much flavor and needed a lot of salt, but was tender and moist. My daughter thought the chicken fried steak was exceptionally good. Lucille’s is worth the drive for a good dinner.

Been hearing about Lucille’s for years. Driven by several times but it was always closed. Decided to take a Sunday drive in the convertible after church today Food was good. The service was a bit sketchy, but the waitress was very pleasant, so no real complaint since we weren’t in any hurry. We will return with friends for cold beer, fried pickles, and AYCE catfish soon!

I had been told about Lucille’s but finally had a chance to make it up and try it for myself. It’s a beautiful drive from Oklahoma City and you can take a very scenic route if you stay off the interstate and take the back roads through Guthrie. It takes about one hour to drive there. The restaurant itself is a large modern wood cabin style building with patio surrounding it and seems to be very popular with the motorcycle crowd. Upon walking into the restaurant you find that it is tastefully decorated and kept very simple. There is the cowboy theme of course but most importantly is the history of Lucille and her cowgirl accomplishments. There were two things that stick out in my mind however and they were 1) The Pie case which You see upon entering the restaurant which is just loaded with these mouthwatering pies and 2) the beautiful wooden table and chairs that are so comfortable and beautiful to look at. The waitresses were all friendly and treated us well. As for the food, I had the chicken fried steak with a baked potato and macaroni and cheese. The chicken fried steak was of a high-quality and the gravy excellent. They also give you some complementary butter and rolls. All in all it was a great experience and it’s the kind of restaurant where you can go and talk without being overheard by others as it is a spacious restaurant where you’re not really seated that closely to others.

Best Chicken Fried Steak on the planet! Well worth the drive from Edmond. Only problem, not open on Monday. Wanted to take friends visiting from California. In town for one night. Of all dinner choices we had, wanted it to be Lucilles.

Amazing food and lots of it. Chicken fried steak was huge and tender. Mac and cheese was great. Didn’t get a slice of the homemade pie but really wish I’d had room for it. Prices are very reasonable.

I drove about 30 miles to eat at Lucille’s. I thought it was okay; the staff wasn’t overly friendly, and I’m not an expert, but I don’t think the catfish was fresh. My friend got the chicken friend steak and loved it. We’ll probably go back, but I won’t get the catfish.

Had the chopped steak and it was very good! I ate at the old Lucille’s and think this was every bit as good. I will definitely make the trip for another visit!

This is not the Lucille’s of old. My husband and I rode our motorcycle down on the weekend. The waitress we had was unfriendly, her boss was equally unfriendly. Nobody was smiling! The food, was nothing that I would travel an hour to eat again. This place could use some help and I’m sure it could be good again. The prices are way too high. That said, it always seems to have customers. I’m not sure if it’s locals or what, but they are there. The owner has tried to start doing a poker run the first Saturday of the month. I hope this works out for him. All in all I would say update your wait staff, your manager and your cook. This is a beer only restaurant.
