Beautiful deck! Slow roasted Prime Rib was amazing!

I thought the fish was pretty good. I prefer breaded over beer battered, but this batter was very good. Light, yet crispy. Potato pancakes? I’d stick with the fries. Everything else was just ok, other than the service, which was excellent. I would go again, but I’d like to try some of the other items. A pretty small menu, but it looked like good stuff.

This place has the best fish fry around. The staff is always very friendly and they do a great job. it is one of our regular Friday fish fry stops.

We had been going here for years, excellent food, excellent service, great portions back then. We hadn’t been there in the last few months because of our hectic schedules, not sure what prompted the changes. Previously, on a Friday night about ½ the tables were full and got busier by the time we left, now we are the ONLY people in the restaurant, other than a few people at the bar. Then I discovered why, the food had drastically changed. The Clam Chowder consisted mostly of Broccoli and was so spicy my wife couldn’t eat it! Instead of the warm loaf of bread we used to get, we got a basket with 4 HALF pieces of some generic marble rye bread. The cole slaw was very acid tasting even though it was made with a cream so we stopped after a bite. The potato pancakes were good, the fish was fresh but the pieces were ½ the size we normally had gotten and the fish fell apart as soon as you tried to eat it.
This used to be our favorite place to eat, now STAY away!
