Buyer Beware with a Groupon. I called today to make an appointment for my facial with my voucher that expires on ⁶⁄₁. I was essentially told that I should not wait so long to use my Groupon. but even if I had called last month it would not have been helpful as they couldn’t book me an appointment until August as I was told by the receptionist. I spoke with both front desk receptionist and owner who were both respectively dismissive and unaccommodating. Hopefully I will get my money refunded by Groupon. Customer Service greatly lacking. Of course I cannot say anything about their actual services as I was not given the opportunity to experience them through no fault of my own.

I have been twice so far for Brazilian waxing and I’m more than happy with it. I actually drive about 35 – 45 minutes for them. I love the pricing as well as the women I’ve met here, Karla and V have been so sweet and helpful!

This was a bad experience. I was looking forward to my appointment for 5 weeks. When I made the appointment I asked if she could move it up because I have a broken back. She said she would call if there was a cancellation. Then I get to the appointment & she refuses to massage me because I have a broken back. I have been having a massage every week since my back broke. To me, it was just an excuse not to work that day. I posted a negative review on her Facebook & she is so dishonest she had it removed. Apparently she doesn’t approve of honesty — probably because she is dishonest.

Karla’s business was inviting — and her customer service was exceptional. I booked an appointment with her over the phone after purchasing an Amazon Local deal — and was pleased from start to finish. Karla explained the products she uses, and her expertise was greatly appreciated. Her product line was superb, the music playing was pleasing and a perfect volume, the interior design was beautiful and she was gracious and asked many times if I was comfortable/​if the temperatures she was using were okay. The entire experience was relaxing and enjoyable and I would highly recommend booking a facial service at the Well Skincare Studio in Mukilteo. Exceptional.

Karla has been my Go To massage therapist for almost two years now and I couldn’t be happier. She always makes time for me and knows exactly how I like my massages. I would recommend her to anyone! Cute location, private studio, very relaxing plus the aromatherapy eye masks and water bottles top it all off! Love The Well! Will be booking my next appointment today!

Cute location and nice people. However, this does not make up for the extremely horrible waxing services. If you go in for a Brazilian you should expect to leave with no hair… this was not the case for both a friend and I who went in after purchasing a Living Social deal. It’s an uncomfortable experience as is but to leave with more than half the hair is wrong. I have had plenty of waxes and never had as much trouble or pain as I had at The Well. The lady would try soft wax first and would go over the area twice — OUCH! — only to leave half the hair. She then tried hard wax and didn’t allow it to harden so would yank the wax and the stick would rip off and she’d have to pull the wax again. Lifted skin and a patchy wax job was the result.
Not to mention that both the lady providing the waxing service and Karla were sick. The lady doing the waxing was sweating profusely and coughing and blowing her nose in between pulls. How unsanitary and gross! Especially since you are working with open pores and infection risks are high. She also mentioned that she had waxed her daughters armpits and couldn’t get the wax to pull either so this wasn’t just a fluke thing.
I recommend that both visit a professional waxing salon to learn more about applying and pulling the wax, as well as sanitary conditions.
I repeatedly asked for a refund only to be told the living social was a discounted rate and a good deal… Definitely not a good deal when you don’t get the service you paid for. I was offered a facial for free but I will not be returning here ever again. People look for a professional salon and one that provides privacy and ethics —
extremely unhappy.

I bought a living Social for The Well over a year ago. I waited to use it until it almost expired, and I did get voicemail, but Karla called me back right away and she was able to get me in within a week. I like the deep tissue and Karla helped unknot my traps and back. I’m now a happy bi-​weekly customer!

I am honestly quite surprised at the poor reviews posted for The Well! I have been having regular massages from Karla (owner) for 6 – 8 months and am THRILLED with her service. I first went to here using a Living Social Voucher. Although I did have a bit of difficulty getting my first appointment set up, I have NEVER had ANY issues at all getting in touch with Karla to make/​change an appointment. She has even responded very quickly to emails I have sent to her business email account for advice on how to treat pain issues I had been experiencing. As she does not take insurance, her pricing is AWESOME; she makes it easy/​affordable to come back for regular appointments. As a fellow runner (she also does Personal Training), she has taught me many stretches and given many tips to help with the pain and injury recovery I’m going through from running. Although I love the «down time» a massage offers, I often find myself chatting away my entire appointment, and always look forward to our conversations. But on the days that I am not so chatty, she lets me indulge in the peace and quiet the appointment allows. She is GREAT at reading my mood and adapting to what I want/​need without indication from me. I HIGHLY recommend Karla and The Well!

Karla is very skilled at massage and I enjoyed the hour long hot stone massage. Clearly she’s been at her craft for a while. The room was nice, my appointment was on time, and she was very professional. All things said, I would come here again for her services.

This place is great! Karla is very knowledgeable and a great massage therapist. I should know as I’m a therapist too, and I’m very picky. She was able to get me in quickly, and was very professional. She really impressed me with her skill set, as she’s also a personal trainer and is attending esthetician school. Pretty soon, she’ll be a one stop shop for all three.
