This Y is so frustrating. Out of all the Y’s in the area, I think they are the most disorganized. The staff is super friendly and that helps but the front desk is usually confused with times, dates, prices for classes. You have to jump around so much to get the right answer. Sometimes you call and get one answer and then call again and get a totally different answer. I don’t even feel ok leaving my kids in the Zone area. The staffing seem’s to be low in the Zone area and front desk. I would go to Mill Creek or Bothell if they were closer. This Y needs to step it up.

The Mukilteo YMCA is the best Y I have ever belonged to! This place is just amazing. The staff are so kind and there is such a community here. The child watch staff is so fantastic I would give them 10 stars if I could! The pool is great if you like competitive swimming(good temp and multiple lanes), lots of weight equipment, and cardio equipment is great. The only class I go to is family Zumba, which is a blast(and taught by a mom-daughter team that rocks the place). Really grateful for this place and all the people who have worked so hard to make it wonderful!

I spent many excellent years at this facility. Teen nights were my favorite(when I was still a teen)!

Fantastic facility to do workouts in or drop your kids off during work. There is a tennis room, swimming pool, weight room, locker room, a gym, basket ball court, skate park and other things. I have come here with friends since living in the area and its a fantastic place to just hangout and exercise.

This review is purely for the infant swim class. While the teacher was great, she didn’t really«teach» anything. And, yes, I know they’re infants, but we’ve been to other swim schools where the teachers interact with the kids. While teaching pool safety is important, I’d rather have a little less focus on that and more focus on floating techniques and things to save my baby if she ever fell in the pool. I felt sorry for the parents who had babies that were scared of the water, as there wasn’t any easing in for them. The class age range is too broad to effectively teach anyone anything, there’s too much going on around the kids so they’re constantly distracted and the pool was always freezing cold.

The Marysville Y is my home branch & until yesterday, I hadn’t been to the other branches. Imagine my surprise walking into Mukilteo! It’s so much better! It’s cleaner, doesn’t reek of chlorine & sweat, the machines are more updated(& there’s more of them), & it’s a lot more spacious! The locker rooms are great too; the lockers aren’t rusty & the bathrooms(or at least, they appear) cleaner. I actually saw trainers walking around! I’m officially making this MY gym; that’s how much better it was. Marysville’s needs to get ONBOARD the awesome train!(:

I left the Y a couple of years back and I have no idea why. I just joined up again and I am so happy to be back in more of a community environment, and less of a drain you for dollars gym. They have lots of nice touches like a swimsuit dryer, small lockers for keys and wallet while u swim, and towels included. They also have a great Zumba class — super fun!
