I got my new bamboo floors from the Lumber Liquidators team in Mukilteo. They were very helpful and knowledgeable. Made our purchasing decision very easy. Also, the final product turned out fantastic

I went to their store to find a matching stair nosing for the laminate I installed on my stairs. They were helpful and showed me one, and the Assistant Manager printed me an official quote for $ 3.50 per foot. Having seen other nosing on sale in their website for $ 0.16 per foot, I declined. That night I went to their website and purchased the stair nosing on sale. The following day, my account in their website showed that the order was cancelled because«the store does not have stock». Perplexed at the continued ad in their website, I called their online sale from their office somewhere east and ordered the nosing I liked. The guy was very helpful and told me that just because a store does not have the material in stock does not mean they cannot order it from other locations. After 2 weeks I got notified that the material is available for pickup at the store. Went to pick it up but it took them a while digging it out from their inventory. It left me wondering it was available in the first place and that I was just being lead to a more expensive purchase..

Lumber Liquidators asked if I was installing the floor myself. I said yes. Told them is a 250 sq. ft. U shaped basement. They said follow the directions. Didn’t say how to install in a U shaped room. Halfway thru into the opposite U shape of the floor the tongue & groove changed direction. I called LL& asked for help. Said an installer would come out & finish for a price. Would not answer questions on the phone. Cheap quality floor too.

From the beginning, the staff was informative and helpful. I selected Brazilian Koa, and Daniel was great at getting me all the information I needed about options and installation. When the total price was beyond my budget, Daniel and the manager worked things out with the product and installation, and got me a lower price that I could afford. After I had paid, I discovered a humidity issue. So, they got the installer back out to assess and give me some options. In the end, I was not able to proceed due to the humidity, but The manager refunded my money with no hassle at all. It was an excellent experience all the way around. When I get my humidity issue resolved, I will be back!

I ordered online from them and after a week of no status change in their order tracking, I left a message to customer service. The customering service messaging says to expect a message in two working days(!) and it was about 2 ½ days later when I got a message stating the order was in store and ready for pickup(even though the online order tracking still indicated the order wasn’t ready.) We went to the Mukilteo store(difficult to locate, set back from the street, but the second time around the block we found it.) Walked into the store /showroom and there was one person sitting at a terminal at the front. She didn’t greet us and worked on the terminal for a full minute before asking us what we needed. I produced the paperwork for my online order and she told us to wait and someone would help us. 3 – 4 minutes later another person showed up in front, asked us what we wanted, I showed him the paperwork and he said he’d be with us in a minute. Another 5 minutes pass while he’s helping another customer(the woman is still sitting at her terminal, saying nothing), when a third person comes out and asks us what we need. It takes him another 5 minutes but he tells us he’ll bring our order out. We ended up getting what we needed, but this was the most remarkable indifferent customer service I can remember in a long time. The product itself wasn’t bad, although it wasn’t as cheap as I’d expected. I’ll go back — but only if I have no other choice…

WORSTMERCHANTEXPERIENCE I HAVEEVERHAD!!! There is a painstakingly long story to explain my terrible experience with Lumber Liquidators but I will try to keep it short. On Lumber Liquidators website I read up on the Brazilian Koa laminate flooring which they were offering at a great price. I read alot of the reviews and all of them said how durable and great the product was. I even asked the sales associate about durability and went ahead and bought one bedroom worth of material as I thought I see how I liked it before doing the rest of the house. The boxes of laminate came with chipped pieces and as I(correctly) installed the flooring it was chipping everywhere. It shows scratches horribly and soaks up water before you even have a chance to clean it up and then it’s too far gone. I had a buddy who has installed similar flooring of better quality in homes for years look at it and he thought the same of it as I did and told me to get my money back. WHATSWORSE: I called to get a refund for this inferior product and I have received the worst customer service I have ever experienced. After doing more research I found reviews on Amazon(a truly customer satisfaction based merchant), all of which were bashing lumber liquidators for such terrible products And customer service. Some of these products contain unsafe levels of formaldehyde and other cancer causing chemicals because they have the material constructed in China. I even found out there are open lawsuits against them in California because of it. That being said, I have jumped through hoops with the company as well as my credit card company to get my 500 dollars back so I can install better flooring. What morals a giant company like them must have to go to such great lengths to keep what is pennies to them. Greatly dissapointed and still attempting to get my refund. My advice: go to Home Depot.

We decided to check this place out after we heard them advertising a tax free sale on the radio. It is a small showroom which I appreciate because we own a town home… not a huge space, I don’t need to many choices. It is divided up in sections, Laminate, hardwood, bamboo, etc. The guy was helpful but just kind of sat back and let us do our thing until we were ready to see about purchasing. He didn’t try to up sell us or anything like that which was nice but he just was kind of meh about all of it. We got our floor in about 2 weeks, right when they said. \ I would purchase from them again.

Price — When you go to a place with«Liquidator» in the name you expect to be getting rock bottom prices. I shopped around at other places like Lowe’s, Home Depot, and a few specialty flooring places and these guys definitely had better pricing. Service — Good? Not great but it was good. The guy that helped me seemed more interested in making a sale then in actually helping. He let me know that if I over purchased material I could bring the rest back and as long as it was unopened I could get 100% refund. That’s something of a bold-faced lie. In the sales receipt you have to sign it says you can get 80% back if returned within the first 30 days. The manager confirmed this when I had to go back to modify my order before I accepted delivery. Quality — I got the bamboo flooring that came with a 30 year guarantee. It’s not what I was expecting I suppose. It looks beautiful and it installed quickly(relatively) but even an empty kitchen garbage can(total weight 3 pounds) can scratch the surface. On the flip side my two dogs haven’t been able to scratch it yet. It is hilarious to watch them spin out on it though.

Nice customer service So many choices OK on prices. For some reason i was thinking my dollar would go farther here. The selection is from minor to out of this world… from basic laminate to exotic woods… I would visit again once my wallet recovers
