I want to give a REAL BIG shout out to all the volunteer personnel that selflessly dedicate their time to training & responding to a multitude of emergency calls for Muir Beach, Muir Woods, and all the surrounding hiking trails and roads! These folks are true heroes that are committed to their community. They respond to calls of all variations, from bee stings to vehicle accidents and beyond. The Muir Beach Fireman’s BBQ is the biggest event held in Muir Beach and people come from all over the bay area to not only enjoy the awesome BBQ food and the sweet live music, but also because all the proceeds go directly to keeping this enchanted part of Marin County safe…
