Mike is the best! I needed my wood burning stove replaced right away and within 3 days he ordered the stove and replaced it. He is very professional, personable and very easy to do business with. He also has a very nice sense of humor. He sent me pictures so I knew exactly what I was getting. I highly recommend Mike at Complete Chimney Service.

Complete Chimney Service just replaced the wood stove at our vacation home this week. Mike was very knowledgeable about the right product for our home and helpful in ensuring it was within a reasonable price range. He ordered the product I selected with his guidance, had it delivered to his business and then installed the very next day! His service included installation of the wood stove, a class A chimney pipe, a new stove pipe, trim, waterproofing and the chimney cap. Since I was not available to be at the house during the installation, he called up on entering the house, sent pictures throughout the whole process and then called as soon as everything was completed. I would definitely recommend Complete Chimney!

I was having trouble with air flow on my Lopi Wood Stove. My fires weren’t burning at optimum temps and my house wasn’t getting warm. Mike had swept our chimney this past summer, so I called him to see if he could help. After some initial troubleshooting over the phone, (types of wood, was it seasoned, etc.) he said he’d come out that day to see what he could do, because he wanted to make sure that my family was safe and warm
I was at work when he was coming so I had my Mom and Dad meet him at the house. After a stove check-​up, Mike determined that my air flow problem could be solved with a simple damper adjustment. Well, didn’t I feel foolish. I had been using that stove for 5 years and never had trouble in the past, but never payed much attention to the damper setting position either.
He insisted it was no trouble at all. Our safety was his concern. While he was there, he also did an additional outside inspection of the chimney.
Mike is a class act. My original call was returned within hours, and he was able to accommodate me right away. He never made me feel foolish about my lack of knowledge, but rather took the opportunity to educate me as to the best way to start, and then maintain, a fire in my stove.

Mike is a professional, kind and thoughtful guy. He not came to clean the chimney for us, also helped get our old stove cleaned and fired up. He went above and beyond, bought the fire bricks we need for us the next day and left them at our doorstep.

We recently purchased a house in late December that has both a wood burning fire place and a gas boiler. We called around to have our wood burning chimney swept and Mike was the only one who not only quoted us a price but also told us exactly what service he would provide for that price. Mike arrived to do a routine chimney sweep and informed us that it was fairly clean and he didn’t see a reason to preform the sweep. He did however check out both of our chimneys and found that they both were in need of repair. He explained the condition of both chimneys to us and told us that meant a complete reline for both, and a new thimble for the wood stove. We were quoted a reasonable price to have both done but due to being a month into home ownership and not wanting to wipe out funds we chose to completely repair the boiler side since that is the main source of heat and replace the thimble on the wood burning side. Mike did not charge us for this visit.
Mike and his crew came out a week later to do the repairs we discussed. Mike and his crew worked hard and completed the whole project in less than 4 hours. They cleaned up after themselves nicely. Mike did a nice job replacing our liner for our boiler. We asked him to just fix the thimble on the wood stove but once he got into it it was a more complex than originally thought. Mike went above and beyond to fix what needed to be done for our fireplace to be safe to use. We paid what we were quoted even though he had to do more work than expected.
Mike and his one man crew were on time and pleasant to deal with on both occasions. Mike even took time to introduce himself to my dog who was very uncertain of his presence in our home.
