I don’t go to Mt Dora often but this time after eating lunch we decided to give this little shop a try. It is quiet and cozy inside reminding me of an old ice cream style store. Chairs and tables are placed through out the room. There is a small display with a variety of cupcakes. A black board on the back wall shows specials and prices. There is a coupon in Unilocal for $ 2 per cup cake. Normally they are $ 2.99. I suggest you check in before you order. The staff was very friendly and answered all our questions. We then had a stawberry shortcake, chocolate delight and a sprinkle cupcake. All of them were pleasing to the eye and the taste was ten times better. Maybe it was just the need for something sweet but I think they are better than B’s cupcakes. The icing was delicious and not super creamy. It was a little denser than normal but it was still very yummy. The cake was baked perfectly. We will definitely return here for more sweets. Highly recommended!

These cupcakes do the job but they aren’t my favorite in Central Florida. I have tried them on many occasions when walking around Mt Dora and I always and slightly disappointed. They are a little too sweet, a little too firm, and a little too chilled. I think they would benefit from not being in the fridge for one thing as it turns the frosting into a rock. The key lime lacked lime thought the coffee cupcakes are delightful.

We were on our way to the beach when we drove by Cupcake Delights, never having been there, we immediately went back. The shop was packed with people, all staring at the cases filled with cupcakes, trying to make a decision, there had to have been over 50 different flavors to choose from. We settled on 6 different ones, Raspberry Truffle(chocolate cake with chocolate ganache frosting and a raspberry ganache filling), Cookie Dough(white cake with a cookie dough flavored frosting sprinkled with mini chocolate chips), Chocolate Buttercream(white cake chocolate frosting), Snickerdoodle(Spiced cake with a cinnamon flavored frosting), Key Lime(spiced cake with key lime flavored frosting and key lime frosting filling), and Coconut Cream(white cake with a coconut flavored frosting sprinkled with real coconut flakes and a coconut frosting filling). My two favorites were the Cookie Dough and Coconut Cream cupcakes, the flavors were amazing, the cake was moist and delicious. The prices are a little steep, $ 3 per cupcake, and they’re not large cupcakes by any means. It cost us $ 19.75 w/tax for 6.

Cute bright little cupcake place in downtown Mount Dora! We were a bit chilly at night so we simply stopped in for a mocha latte! It was nice and sweet and refreshing and warm. The service here was genuine, the atmosphere inside was inviting and happy and the cupcakes were beautiful! I’d definitely try them next time. I wanted to bring some home, but I already picked up extra goodies from the Yahala German Bakery!

Love this place! I don’t like cupcakes and frosting that are very heavy tasting and ruin your appetite for hours. These are the perfect light and tasty treats. I stop by every time I am in the area. The salted caramel and cookie dough are my personal favorites.

I love cupcakes and I have the butt to prove it. This place is darling, charming décor, good service and delish cupcakes. I had the strawberry crème cup cake and it was so good. My only complaint, the cupcake wasn’t big enough.

Love this place! I’m one of those people that love to taste a cupcake that says what it is, actually tastes what it is. Not just an ordinary cupcake bakery but one of the best I’ve had by far. These cupcakes are delicious and complex with flavor and moistness. I can truly say I will definitely be back here for another dozen cupcakes very soon. Definitely a must in Mt. Dora!

My all time favorite cupcake shop ever. I’ve had cupcakes all over the U.S. and these are literally my favorite. The wedding cake and peanut butter are my personal favs. I know everyone has their own opinions but I compare every other shop to Cupcake Delight.

Cupcake Delights is amazing for all ages. It’s a well known place here in our small surrounding towns and cupcake Tuesday with all cupcakes being $ 2 is an awesome deal! They have a text club you should sign up for and you get coupons and deals sent to your phone and in store there is a frequent buyers punch card. The cupcakes are AMAZING. I have gotten my boyfriend the key lime pie cupcake more times than I can remember and he always scarfs it down. I loved the Tiramissu one that a child’s parent brought the workers at the extended care one day. Amazing cupcakes. Soft and amazing! The new popsicles that they are making are also amazing. Try the Piña colada one.

Okay… Take notes. Cookie dough, key lime, mint chocolate chip, coconut dream and just plain white with buttercream. And the New York mother effing Times declared«The Cupcake is Dead»! Well, they said that about God too… This place will wow you. I called nearly two weeks ahead. Was coming in from out of town for a graduation party and I was In charge of the cupcakes. They put little fondant graduation caps and orange and blue sprinkles on the white with buttercream. I am remiss for not taking one damned photo. Oy! I ordered 65 cupcakes. They majorly came through. In my wildest cupcake fantasies, I never dreamed that a key lime cupcake could ever taste like a key lime pie! Each little cake; moist, flavorful and(sorry to sound like a snob) had the perfect cupcake mouthfeel… You know, not too buttery that it sticks to the roof of your mouth but substantial enough that it has a light fluffy chew? Magic. Pure magic. Admittedly, upon arriving to downtown Mt Dora(a place I had never visited), I was a LOT put off at the fact that the dear cupcake magic ferries had FAILED to mention that THEENTIRESTREET was torn up and posed a major freaking parking problem. They ALSO failed to mention(knowing that I was from out-of town) that there was a parking lot on the back side of this establishment!!! I mean, what the BLEEP!!! So, I illegally parked at the cardiology clinic down the street(which I do not recommend seeing as they have multiple signs posted declaring that they will absolutely tow your sorry ass if you ever parked illegally in their lot)… Thinking that I would just be a few minutes. When I arrived at the very cute and well laid out cupcake house, the ladies were a little overwhelmed by foot traffic and took a lot longer than I expected for them to put my order together. So, while I stood there sweating bullets wondering whether I would come out to my rental car or not, The ladies went back and told my order out and slowly put into bags. They knew I was coming, they should have maybe had this all planned out? Anyhow, my thoughts of any lesser stars than five were certainly allayed when I first bit into what has now become my gold standard for cupcakes. So, park behind the building and call ahead. And do try the key lime(my personal favorite) Oh! I almost forgot to mention that they gave me complementary Florida gators flags to install in my cupcakes. This was really nice and we absolutely did this. Our cupcake tower was UF magnifico!

Out of towners just visiting the downtown area and randomly stopped in this very cute small business. originally I just wanted a smoothie and ended up getting their pumpkin cupcake as well. Pumpkin cupcake was soooooo good! Cupcake was not too sweet, just right and a yummy cream in the middle! Smoothie was also good, just strawberries and bananas, you can tell it was all fruit and no powder(which is what you want for a smoothie) the place was very cute and clean, old country style round dinner tables that make this place feel warm and homey, and benches by the window to people watch. The place had a lot of costumers inside and seems like everyone loves their cupcakes! Highly recommend to stop by if you’re in the area for a cupcake!

Cupcakes are«in» right now with hipsters, the elderly, and couples vacationing in boutiquey towns and Cupcake Delights hits all audiences. The location is pretty small with limited seating and is really more geared towards ordering then walking around Mt. Dora With your treat. The staff was fun and outgoing, the cupcakes were all pretty crafty and looked delicious, and the coffee was made very well. My date had a White Chocolate Chip that she really enjoyed and I dove into an espresso. Overall a neat little place in the heart of Mt. Dora with a cool Unilocal deal for a few bucks off. Check it out!

Cute branding & charming cupcake boutique. Ordered a butter pecan cupcake, about $ 3. Flavorful & well made with lots of chopped nuts. Very crumbly cake. Friendly service. Would have liked to order a coffee but I didn’t. Espresso machine looked brand new like it had never been used! Nice variety of cupcakes. Pleasant stop if you are passing through town.

Sometimes words are just not enough. If you want to truly appreciate how good these cupcakes are you are just gonna have to drive to Mount Dora and eat a few. The only thing wrong with Cupcake Delights is the big selection. You want them all — and you want them NOW. And here’s a hint: go ahead and eat the first one while you’re still close to the shop; that will save you a long walk back to get a half-dozen to go. Best selections are in the morning, and when a flavor is gone, it’s gone for the day. At first I thought $ 2.99 was a little pricey for a cupcake but after tasting one it occurred to me that they were not charging enough. When you’re sad, these will help cheer you up. When you’re happy, these are good celebration indulgences. If you are neither go get one anyway. Everyone deserves at least one rationalization a day.(Geezers get $ 2.00 cupcakes on Thursdays)

Sweet and beautiful cupcakes. In the past I have tried their fresh strawberry cupcake and it’s so fruity and sweet. The frosting has fresh blended strawberries, it’s a great natural flavor. This time I had the chocolate buttercream and it was very good. It’s a bit odd that all the cupcakes are served refrigerated, it takes away from the softness of the cake and the frosting, but still pretty good. The café area is very pink and cute, but tends to be a bit noisy. This place is a nice treat if you’re in the area, maybe pick up some cupcakes to go.

Cupcakes… I love cupcakes. Let’s start with service… this place has much better service than your typical Gigi’s Cupcakes. The staff was pleasant and professional. These cupcakes are a bit smaller than some of the other places, but about the same price. The cupcakes are pretty good… we had red velvet, cookie dough, and peanut butter… all had good taste.

Meh… yeah I was not impressed. The location was cute but I had a vanilla with vanilla buttercream topping. It was very hard as it was in the fridge… The mousse one my husband had was much tastier… I should not have gotten one that was a buttercream… duh. it was in the fridge. The cake was average. nothing fancy. I have had better making them at home. But it was a cute place with a small table to enjoy them in. Eh… I guess if I was in the area I would have them again(after trying their competitor) but I would go for the mousse cupcake this time.

This place is darling. However, I hate to say I wasn’t really a fan of their cupcakes. I ordered the classic buttercream and the icing was rock hard because they«chill» the cupcakes. I found it harder to eat and wierd to bite on frosting. Not a fan! They also serve made to order doughnuts. Some are already decorated in the display cases or you have the option to get one personalized for your tastes. I was going to order one but they use cake doughnuts which are not my favorite. However, my husband ordered and kept raving about it. The store itself is adorable and a nice place to take a break from strolling Downtown Mount Dora. But next time I’ll just order some coffee.
