Came in on a Friday night. Parking was insanely hard to come by, had to park out back and walk around the building. But thats not their fault I guess? Good staff, well informed and polite. Food was good. Fries are the best! Ordered a pulled pork sandwhich which was a bit dry. But drinks and everything else was good! Wife had a BOMB steak dip. This is the better location out of the two. Free though difficult parking, no peanut shells all over the floor. Pretty good set up.

Food is great and that’s the only thing that keeps me coming around. Service is super slow and not very attentive. One star for the food only.

World’s best lukewarm coffee! Einstein must work for them because who else would come up with the idea of using thin walled coffee mugs in a warehouse setting that sucks the heat out of your coffee before it arrives at your table. Maybe little microwaves at each table would rectumfy this. Although I had finer cutlery in prison, I must say the eggs benedict are perfectly served on an oversized grilled English muffin. Bring back the tater tot casserole or dump the overly airy«split grain» bun with something more Gais-esque and I’ll be able to come back for lunch. I’m a Ruben fan too but fear I might scald myself with the giant hot rock whilst pondering«why am I paying to cook my own food?»

I’ve been going to the Diamond Knot in Mukilteo for years now and I’m really happy with this one that they’ve opened in MLT. This venue seems like it was planned out a lot better and feels more put together. Great food selection and great beer selection. There is plenty of space and seating options as well.

Huge selection of beers on tap here. They even give you suggestions for what to pair with your entrees right on the menu. We got the knothead nachos w/pulled pork(10.59 $ + 2.99 $) and the galley fish burger w/tater tots(11.99 $). Both items were HUGE, even the appetizer… so it wouldn’t hurt to share your plates, unless you enjoy being stuffed heartily. Nachos were pretty yummy, especially the pulled pork, which came out tender and not too dry. The fish burger was just okay… perhaps fried a little too long and kind of plain. Service was quick and attentive otherwise.

All the craft beers I’ve tried from diamond knot have been enjoyable and well balanced… their food and service is less impressive. We stopped by on a weekend for a quick happy hour. It was a little busy for a week night but nothing unusual so I was really disappointed when it took almost ten minutes for us to me acknowledged at all. It was especially frustrating bc the bar tender was pretty busy but wood have small breaks in the rush and would take time to stop at chat with his girlfriend or regulars instead of looking around the bar to check on guests(he even stopped to eat pizza!!) Also there was a little special beer tap the night we visited so there was management standing around bullshitting with the guest brewery. It was just annoying since he was standing inside the bar, right in front of where we sat down, and still didn’t help us when he saw us waiting without any service. He just stood around acting like a hot shot talking instead of welcoming customers who have been patiently waiting for ten minutes. The beer event was poorly put together as well. The beers taps were small, and ran out quickly, and they were the same beers as was advertised on the flyer and menu board and they servers were just as confused about what was available. They also we refueling off a few(empty!!?) growlers and t-shirts but they gave away half the prizes before they realized the whole bar area(you know the true die hard beer regulars) never got raffle tickets. Anyway, it was an annoying visit and doesn’t encourage me to return.

Came for late-night happy hour. Probably because it’s MLT, the place was pretty dead. Good selection of beers — probably 10+ on tap. Appetizers were good — had the reaper wings and chips with queso. The reaper wings are really spicy, as advertised. Service was friendly and fast.

We stopped in here before taking in a movie at Cinnebar(I always forget how to spell the name of that place). The beer selection and happy hour prices/menu were fine. My wife recently«discovered» queso(spicey melted cheese dip for tortilla chips for those who are unfamiliar) after visiting Austin Texas recently, so naturally we ordered this plus a beer for me and sparkling wine for her. The Queso was not really very good and the chip to dip ratio was off(not enough chips). So giving this spot an A-OK rating for now. We may visit again and if so, will adjust the rating accordingly. The place was not busy so I can’t speak to the vibe. While I’m a vegetarian I could not help but check out the butcher shop next door. They have tons of sauces and lots of other interesting items beyond the deli/meat selection. So if you hang out at Diamond Knot, make time to check out the shop next door. One other note. Shortly after we arrived someone who appeared to be homeless, inebriated, a little«off» mentally, or all of the above wandered in and was talking to himself and cursing the staff. They handled the situation professionally and effectively and escorted him out of the building. Evidently he is known to them and this was the«worst» they’ve seen him.

Great place for a casual dinner. Awesome variety on the menu and with the brews. They really have something for everyone, even the kids and those looking for ciders and guest taps. I also really like the setup = easy parking, long tables for big groups, patio seating, and easy to see the kitchen and small onsite brewery(7bbl?)

Uh Oh, the menu has changed!!! So, I’ve been a frequent diner since it’s opened and felt it was one of the better values and pubs in the area. But… The menu has been changed. Gone are the double patty burgers and great old fashioned french fries. The fries are now the starch covered kind that you find at Arby’s or Burger King(that’s not a compliment). They are a definite downgrade. And the burgers now have one patty that is supposed to be bigger, although it seemed smaller than most pub burgers I’ve had and seems smurf-sized in their bigger sized buns. And the sloppy joe items are now gone. The beer is still good and the atmosphere is still good. But it feels like they’re cutting corners or costs now and the value just doesn’t seem there anymore.

I’ve been here a few times since my last review, and I must say the last time has taken the cake for me! Five stars all around! I took my BF here for his birthday, and he got a beer or two and the prime rib dip. Now, I’m not normally a fan of dip sandwiches but I think I’ll order this one next time I visit. The flavor of the prime rib was perfect. The meat was tender, it was perfectly seasoned, and the bread was perfectly crisp so it didn’t fall apart everywhere. The beer jus was genius and really brought out the meat flavor. I got a nicely poured G&T and the peanut butter burger, which is my favorite food ever. The peanut butter sauce was the perfect viscosity, not too thick but clung to the meat, and didn’t overpower the burger. The caramelized onions and the burger sauce was way too good. Their tater tots were great as well, and they even gave my BF a free birthday beer!

Superb service and food. It was a day of fun with my friends which started out the afternoon with lunch at Diamond Knot. Out of the three of us, two of us were first-timers. We were seated immediately by the window and our server/awesome person extraordinaire who helped us was very personable and knew the menu well. I ordered the Sloppy Tot Casserole. Oh my carbs. I was in love. I asked to make sure it was a big enough serving because I was hungry and I wanted carby carbs. I wanted carbs! Guess what, it comes with parmesan garlic bread AND ranch was suggested on the side… I know! My mouth is watering, too. That was too awesome. Both of my friends sampled my dish because it was beautiful and so tasty. Under the cap of crispy cheesy tots is the flavorful meat and veggies of this sloppy joe like casserole. I almost quit with a little left on my dish but made myself finish out of respect to the deliciousness of this dish. It was a very comforting and tasty mix of flavors and textures. Mmm!(I think a nap happened later on that day.) I’ll definitely return to try other dishes and I hope the onion rings are still on the menu. My friend said the beer was good, too!

We came here for the first time for lunch today after several friends recommending the place. Decent beers and food. I had the vegetarian thai salad. Though I appreciate that all of their salads can easily be made«vegetarian»(it IS a salad) I would hope they would have added some extra veggies or tofu. I ended up with a ton of spinach, a few pieces of red peppers and a few flecks of crispy wonton. My husband had the pork sandwich that came on a hot rock for him to cook. He thought that was pretty cool and said it tastes great. My Hef came with an orange after asking for a lemon and when we asked for utensils we were brought two forks. We had to ask again for knives. A few other reviews mention how hard it is to get a knife so ask when you order I guess. I can overlook these things of the service is always as friendly as it was today. We’ll be back!

I loved the ambiance of this new(er) location! I used to make the trek all the way out to Mukilteo whenever I was craving DKB but now I will just head over here to Mountlake Terrace! There is plenty of parking, despite all of the spots designated for individual stores in the strip mall, and lovely natural wood paneling is all around — what could be better? The service here beats the other location by far, and the beer is amazing as ever. I had the creamy stout and was quite pleased with it. For dinner I ordered the seafood chowder and Thai vegetarian salad. Everything was delicious and memorable. Only thing I wish they brought back was the hot stone white fish burger(I think it was Halibut, but really any white fish will do!) Can’t wait to come back here again!

Since I was in the area I decided this place would be worth trying since I always wanted to try out their other location in Mukilteo. I would give this place more like 2.5 because of the service alone but rounded up. As already mentioned, the one thing this place has going for it its service– all staff we encountered were very attentive and friendly staff. I wish I could say the same about the food, which wasn’t horrible but wasn’t as good as I was hoping. My dining companion and I ordered a regular burger with fries and a pepperoni calzone. The burger was okay but nothing remarkable and the calzone was meh. While dining in the regular dining room area, we noticed the happy hour bar area was very busy so perhaps we missed out on that and would be interested in giving this place another try if in the area in the future.

Alright place. This is a big brewery/restaurant. It was a nice day and they had the front of the place opened up for outdoor seating, which looked very nice. The inside, however, was a little less inviting, it was just one huuuuuge room with some tables and chest-level dividers. It honestly felt like a middle school cafeteria inside and sounded like it too: you could hear every single conversation within 50 feet. Also, they felt compelled to put up large, distracting televisions around the corners. I couldn’t tell if the volume was on due to all the noise immediately around me, but I could only imagine they did their part to make it hard to talk to my friends at the table. There is also a bar area, which looked more like a corral in the corner. The food was not fantastic. They specialize in all those things that your doctor tells you not to eat: burgers, steaks, cheese and deep-fried diabetes stuffed with heart disease. I was able to find a couple of choices that were not grease bombs and they were actually not all that bad. I’d probably come back for the beer, after eating at home.

Went in with my brother and dad for dinner because we had an Entertainment Book coupon and my brother had been to the Mukilteo location before. We all three tried a different beer, I tried their seasonal winter ale, my dad had their IPA and my brother had something else(I don’t remember, this was in the winter, hah y’know based off of me drinking their seasonal winter ale). I liked mine the best, but I’m not much of an IPA fan, so there’s that. The food took a little long to arrive, but there were quite a few people in, and the seating arrangements for the waiters and waitresses seems a bit screwy from what I could observe. The waiter was apologetic and promised to get our food to us right away, and that’s all the difference! He was attentive, he noticed we hadn’t gotten our food, and he did something about it. Their food is fantastic — and I would happily return, and I can’t say enough about the service we received. There’s still a few more beers on their list that I definitely need to try.

Hot Rock Rib-Eye. That’s all I gotta say. Been there twice and ordered it both times. I like porters and stouts so that’s what I usually order when I’m there and they taste great. I’ve had the nachos too and they were ok. Overall the food and service were great! Probably my favorite place in Mountlake Terrace.

I am a huge fan of Diamond Knot, and I really like their Brew Pub in Mukilteo. So, I figured I’d like this place is MLT, and I wasn’t disappointed. Everything on their menu is not healthy, so let’s get that out of the way. SO, we tried the Mac N Cheese, Sloppy Tot Casserole, and thin crust BBQ pizza. The hands down favorite was the Sloppy Tot Casserole. The thin crust on the pizza was too thin. I like thin crust, but I also want some substance to the pizza, like some crunch. The Mac N Cheese was very cheesy, and had lots of ham. It was really good, but the portion size was freaking huge, and prob like 300 calories a bite. We also ordered beer, and most beer pairs well with anything they serve. This place has typical pub food, but it tastes great, without you feeling it later(you know what I mean). The best part was our server. I cannot remember her name, but she was absolutely hilarious, and made the experience that much better. Overall, the MLT experience is exactly like the Mukilteo experience. The location is weird though, as it is in a strip mall in the middle of a random neighborhood. It’s easy to get to, just a bit odd. There was enough parking on a Thursday night, but maybe it might be tight on a Friday or Weekend? Who knows, but if you want great pub fare, and good beer with that amazing Diamond Knot ambiance, you must come here.

I can’t say it enough, this place rocks! They have sandwiches, that you can cook yerself… or you can order an entrée and make them cook it for you. :) I’ve enjoyed making my own sandwich — some sandwiches are served RAW, and you cook them all by your little self on a little stone, and the 12th man salad, um? Yummy! Just order that, if you cannot decide, — and/or do not want to leave a tip for makin’ yer own food. ;) But now, let’s talk beer… they have a number of beers on tap, their«Possession Porter» is the«lightest» beer in calories… but it is NOT the lightest beer in color… because it’s a «Porter» it is dark as shit! I personally prefer light beers(in color, and in calories), pilsners, &/or blondes… and this«dark beauty» is not down my alley. But, 4 stars … ‘Cause this place rocks, and you can bring your children. :) A number of different TV’s will keep even the biggest sports enthusiast at bay. We’ll be back — perhaps we’ll see you! :) Cheers! *clink
