The food is pretty good, although the menu selections are limited and I think portions could be larger. I like the atmosphere and I love the outdoor seating area. The beer sampler is a good bet. The service is pretty good. I do feel they are a bit over-priced and trying too hard to be trendy. They are clearing marketing themselves to a NY/NJ tourist and Skytop/Buckhill Falls crowd and not so much the locals. Nothing wrong with that but I think most of the locals know of more places with equitable food quality for less money.

My boyfriend and I were in the area for a weekend & really wanted some hearty food in a casual setting. This place is great! The atmosphere was very laid back & the service was pretty good. The beer sampler is a good choice if(like me) you don’t know much about beer. We started off with wings which were delicious and come in a good-sized portion. I must point out that this place has blue cheese with ACTUALCHUNKS in it, so you know it’s the real deal. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich & it was probably some of the best pulled pork I ever had. Whatever they put in that bbq sauce, it is absolute heaven. I highly recommend this place!

Since moving to Canadensis in November of 2014, this has been our favorite watering hole. The food is always great, as are the local brews. From burgers to steaks to fajitas, all very good. The service is top notch and the atmosphere is inviting. Of all the places in the area we’ve explored, this is our favorite.

Food was really outstanding, the atmosphere was fun and relaxed, our waitress was the sweetest thing. We were there on Friday and the singer was an added bonus!

The food is okay. It’s really the only option in the area. They have assorted beers and drinks if that’s your thing. I ordered a veggie burger which was okay, nothing special. Their chili on the otherhand is really good and I would get that again.

Went for dinner one night while visiting a friends cabin on greentown. Service was good and good was very good. Got the pourburger, fries and a side salad. The burger was amazing and even though there weren’t many fries they were awesome and ended up being the perfect amount. Other friends got avocado bacon burger, crispy buffalo wrap and a fajita salad. We all enjoyed our meals. If I am ever in the area again I will most definitely stop by again!

Beer options and prices are great. You should totally drink here. Our waitress was the sweetest person alive. The food doesn’t match. Stick to the burgers, it’s the best bet. I would definitely come back!

We came here after a waterfall ½ day hike at Skytop Lodge(more to come on that later). When we walked in, it was practically empty except for some patrons at the bar. The Service: Let me tell you, everyone was super nice to our sweaty butts. The hostess was cheerful and sat us right away and the service was super nice. Just the right amount of care and attention and then periodic check ins. She didn’t even need to see the menu, she just knew it all. Plus she was great and describing the portion size. Let me tell you… I wanted to eat lika 400lb dude… All in all really cool spot. I am completely convienced this is the place to be afterhours and when it starts to get dark. The Food: The portions are amazing!!! We each had an avocado bacon burger with sweet potatoe fries and a side dessert of cheesecake. The meat was thick and juicy at medium cooked. Huge chunk of avocado. I was in heaven. Plus it was great fuel for zipling and areial obstacle courses in the later afternoon. The Location: Ideally located on the main road, exactly 15 – 20 mins from Skytop Lodge, no turns needed, just straight on down the road. The restaurant itself is lovely. All wood and very rustic looking. The bar area and restaurant are segmented from each other for easy separation between party seekers and food eaters. The is a game room as well if memory serves. All in all an awesome spot!

Came here after a few hours at Skytop. The place was nearly completely empty, and we hadn’t Unilocaled it before hand so I was a bit nervous, however the food was pretty tasty. The ‘specials’ menu had a lot of great options. We opted for the McHale(?) wings and the burgers w/pork belly. Yum on both, and the fries were nice and thick without being steak fries which was nice. The staff was yelling back and forth across the restaurant/bar joking around and stuff. I’m assuming they were bored & it didn’t bother me… a laid back cook is probably a good one, and in this case I was throughly pleased. I love little places like this.

Burgers & beers… what more is there? We were directed to the Pour House by our zip lining guides over at the Skytop Adventure Center. 3.5 stars… great pub with decent food, dinks and prices. Typical casual fare & nice atmosphere… nachos, quesadillas, ribs, steaks, etc. Lots of locals and tourists alike. My burger was huge and delicious. Service was great and we had no complaints at all… right down to our blueberry bread pudding. We shall return!

[actually my second visit]…landed here by default after a long –post work– drive in the snow to a marriage conference… the only place open… only the«late-night» menu available… but well prepared and well served… just as nice when came the first time at more«regular» hours with a large group… like this place, shall return…

Long wait for not even mediocre food. The bathrooms were a mess. Where is the owner of this place? Drink menu stunk. Will not be back

LOVED this place! My boyfriend and I were staying at skytop logde… we had not plans on eating dinner there because it was crazy fancy and expensive. We were so happy we came across this place! This was a great looking tap house with an appeasing menu, and good drink selections. We both got stuff on tap, and ordered BBQ styled food. Everything was to our liking, and our waitress was very attentive. I must say their fries are standout awesome! My boyfriend wanted to bath in his wings, he thought they were great! If we ever come back to this area this would be a top place to return to!

Had the steak fajita salad and French onion soup. Both were delicious and the salad came in a tortilla bowl which places don’t really do anymore. Caution the soup was nuclear when it came out! Also love the way they decorated for the fall.
