Yang Yang Acupuncture Herbs Clinic

I know Dr. Yang for 10 years. Dr. Yang is so knowledgeable in all kind of issues such as chronic pain, stress, allergies, hormonal issues and etc. He is so patient and caring and professional. Dr. Yang is the best acupuncturist and Chinese herb doctor I know in the Bay Area.

I came to Yang Yang a couple months ago due to a pinched nerve (sciatica), and that my parents believe in acupuncture with their whole heart. I never had acupuncture, and my doctor was skeptical of it, so coming into this while thing, I already had a certain mindset. Also, I don’t like needles in the first place, so getting stuck with 30 and then using electroshock to stimulate the needle doesn’t seem like the most awesome way for me to spend an hour of my free time.
Dr. Yang was ridiculously nice. He was attentive, and seemed like he really about his patients. However, after going here on 6 separate occasions, nothing improved. Maybe it’s because of the severity of my injury or something, but it just didn’t do anything for me.

Dr. Yang is one of the nicest people I know as well as being the best and most innovative acupuncturist. I was a gymnast for 10 years and am currently training for a triathlon, so my body gets very sore and tense. All of my muscles turn into super tight knots and I have a lot of pain in my neck and throughout my back. Sometimes I hurt so much that I can’t sleep or relax or even sit in a chair. After a session with Dr. Yang all of my pain and tension disappear. It’s really incredible! The next day all of my friends notice how much I’m smiling, and they can’t believe it’s because of acupuncture. Somehow he finds the exact points to put the needles so that it creates a release and promotes overall balance. I’m happy to have Dr. Yang as a friend and I know that he’ll always take good care of me

Pros: if you work in Mountain View, it’s a good place to go for your long lunch break if you want to relax. Dr. Yang gives a really thorough and relaxing acupuncture. Also, quite cheap.
Cons: extremely minimalistic diagnosis. If you suffer from some internal condition which is hard to figure out, it will not be figured out. You probably can get some symptoms temporarily reduced (didn’t work for long in my case) but don’t expect more.
BTW, watch out. I’ve seen pictures of the person who lost weight in the office, a good looking young Russian female. But the review is posted by somebody with a Russian male name. Speaking of the other review, the doctor is «he», not «she».

Though this shop is severely crowded it is filled with all the necessities of a true Chinese herbalist. A «Chinese doctor» is on hand to give acupuncture and create remedies to renew your inner strength. The level of English here isn’t very high so if you must go, bring a Chinese speaking friend with you. The «doctor» speaks English but it’s tedious if you’re not well and trying to get your message across. When the ‘doctor’ is done, she will write out a concoction of Chinese herbs to create a healing tonic which the herbalist will put together for you.
