Great selection of healthy foods. I always enjoyed their healthy meals. Miss getting breakfast at Symantec :(

I eat here almost everyday and I love the variety of offerings. I always have a hard time deciding what to get. The stations I like the most are the grill, marco polo(serving latin american and asian food), and fun flex. The ingredients they use are amazing, fresh and tasty, particularly the pork. Some things not to miss are the chicken tortilla soup on Wed and fried fish on Fri. The indian food, even though it is now catered from Amber Indian Restaurant, is so so. It used to be better when there was a dedicated chef. The staff is super friendly and I look forward to chatting with them. They make sure they give abundant servings. My wife and kids love to visit and eat here too.

Great, affordable lunchtime dining. This place is open to the public, so you do not have to be a Symantec employee. The Symantec Café is affordable and has lots of great offerings during the workweek. Whatever you’re in the mood for, you’ll find something good! Prices are super affordable. I recently got a small soup and salad for under $ 4.00! Also, let me say… they have CREPES. Also, free Starbucks coffee and Tazo tea.

I go here at least 3 – 4 times a week for lunch. I like how they offer a good variety of different dishes. They even offer vegetarian option for most of their hot dishes! If you don’t feel like having a heavy meal, they also provide a salad/soup bar with plenty of different options to choose from. I tend to try a little bit of both throughout the week. The cooks are nice and they make sure to give you a plentiful serving, at least enough to fill you up.

I don’t get why Symantec café has such a high rating. I’m forced to eat there fairly frequently, and always dread it. While the salad bar is fresh and has several options, almost everything else verges on the inedible. If you’re a Symantec employee, a further slap in the face is the amount of money they charge for a subsidized work cafeteria.

For coffee, I’m in and out and it’s free Starbucks coffee. Food wise, it gets busy here but you get your fair share of food that changes up most of the time with the exception of the grill. Ethnic food and served at the different stations and some is made to order. If you’re an employee, you basically get a discount with your badge. Other than that I like to eat offsite because you kinda get tired at looking at the same people day in and out, know what I mean?

I’m so glad that the café at Symantec is open to the public, so even non-employees(like me!) can enjoy it. I work nearby so I come here for lunch all the time, and I’m pretty impressed by their selection. There are some items that are available every day, including a crêpe station, a large and well-stocked salad bar(get the sesame ginger dressing!), soups, pizza, sandwiches, grill items, and a desert table. And then there are specials that vary daily, and I’ve seen a range of choices including pasta tosses, stir frys, Indian food, burritos, etc. There are days when the food isn’t spectacular, but for the most part I’m never disappointed. They also have a small section of packaged foods like chips, protein bars, nuts, etc. which make for great to-go snacks for later(or, in my case, great«why-am-i-eating-these-right-after-lunch-i-meant-to-save-them-for-later» snacks) It’s fairly priced — I usually spend $ 6 – 8 on lunch, and Symantec employees get a discount. There’s also plenty of seating, both indoor and outdoor, although it does tend to get pretty crowded at peak lunch time. Going earlier(11:30) or later(12:45) generally lets you beat most of the crowd. Bottom line: It’s convenient, affordable, and delicious, and the large selection is perfect for eating with people who are all in the mood for different things — aka the perfect workday lunch spot.
