Ricos Tacos El Guero

This must have been a recent occurrence as I was at this store a few months ago and didnt see the stand. Went back and there it was. Tacos are 1.75 each which is not the cheapest but for the area, there’s not many other places to eat. Pollo, cabeza and asada were the choices. I think the cabeza was super tasty but the others were average. They do tortas and quesadillas too. Next time Ill try the chorizo and al pastor. THey have onions marinated with habanero to give for a good kick for those who like it really spicy. 3.5 stars

I dig tacos & I dig this little taco cart! I have passed the convenience store that the taco cart is conveniently located in front of a billion times & have seen people congregating there. So, one day on the way home from being beat up on in a Boot Camp class, I sought solace at the little taco cart. I was immediately greeted by an exuberant «Primo!», from the chef. However, I don’t speak Spanish, unfortunately, so I just said ‘hello”.
I ordered a couple of 2 Carne Asada, 3 Pastor & a Quesadilla & it only came out to around $ 11, not too bad. The Asada tacos were decent, surely not the best I’ve ever had. The Pastor were very tasty & so far the best I’ve had around here. The Quesadilla was actually pretty good. I’ve been back since & have tried the burritos as well. They are very filling & really good. Also, the salsas are better than a lot of brick & mortar places I have been to, especially the avocado sauce.

Pretty good tacos and the two guys running it are good entertainment. I go fairly often, walking distance at the busy shop and save. The guys take really good care of making the food right. Asada is good. Chicken is delicious. Chorizo is fresh. I never tried al pastor. The had ceviche for a limited time and it was ah ma zing. You gotta trust the food is worth it when there is a line of regulars getting food for the whole family. And pop into the shop and save for a beverage while you wait for the food to be cooked. Oh and the salsas are right on.

I shall return… Shockingly Amazing! The best tacos I have ever had, and surprisingly from a taco stand outside a liquor store ;-)
The Carne Asada tacos were delicious! I also had a bite of their El Pastor tacos, which were equally as tasty.
Take my word– its well worth the pit stop to the liquor store. Heck, why not pick up a bottle of tequila to wash down those amazing tacos.
