Come here all the time for a little exercise… if you can even call taking long medicinal strolls with the occasional three minute sprint as exercise. Only found this trail from walking all the way around from the main entrance to Shoreline Park & Lake. That trail has better views, but way too much foot traffic for me, so I often go here instead. It’s basically the same, but for this one, you’d be better off parking at the end of San Antonio road all the way past the freeway. Think it’s called Terminal or Industrial road. You enter and go right and walk off toward Google and Intuit. I used to walk up the hill by the amphitheatre, but rarely see anybody up there and with my paranoia of wild animals(hey, mountain lions exist!!! okay??) I just stay on the main path now. If you walk all the way past google, you’ll walk over the freeway and if you keep going straight you’ll eventually end up at Crittenden Middle School. Short, but peaceful trail that I like. And also a ton of Google bikes everywhere, so you can walk for miles and then just hop on a bike and ride back if you’re too tired, which I’ve been doing a lot of lately. It’s not that great and definitely more exhausting than just hoofing it all the way back, but whatever.

another great trail that is part of the baylands-shoreline-stevens creek trail system. this trail actually connects shoreline to stevens creek and has a small bridge and takes in a gorgeous view of the bay. there is a slight bit of tree cover, but it’s mostly open, so if you’re coming in the middle of a hot, sunny day, be sure to lather on the sunblock and carry water! no water or bathrooms along this trail, but you can use the restrooms at nearby shoreline aquatic center. ample and free parking by the aquatic center.

This is one of the good multi-use trails in Mountain View area. This trail is connected to Stevens Creek Trail. I often run this trail and then run Stevens Creek Trail. Relatively new and less crowded than Stevens Creek Trail. Although it is short, but still nice.
