We are fans of their Fuji Apple Chicken salad and their soups. It’s too bad they no longer offer their Steak Chili, though. Otherwise, the selections are there. And everything tastes great. Their tea offerings are just a good as well! Service is attentive, quick, and very helpful!

Norma, being a supervisor, should have excellent customer service and order accuracy. Little does she recognize, she does a less than stellar job at this. Being in the customer service industry requires one to be friendly, helpful, AND professional. Norma(on multiple occasions) has none of these traits. too bad. I couldn’t find a more lazy, less willing to lift a finger or bat an eye minimum-waged employee over at Le Boulanger, or even at the other locations. To top it all off, she assumes her broken Spanish is not heard by native speakers such as myself-standing right in front of her at that. Thanks for nothing but a waste of time… I’m willing to drive the extra 15 – 20 minutes for the service.

Horrible staff and service. I asked for a toasted sandwich, it wasn’t. Sent it back, and they toasted the sandwich in a way that made it completely soggy. Couldn’t hold the sandwich in my hand while trying to eat it. Went to staff and let them know about it. The lady wasn’t concerned she basically told me that’s what happens when get a sandwich toasted when it’s not supposed to be. So I have no right to have a toasted sandwich.

Don’t use Rapid Pickup at this location! They have not gotten my order correct once! I don’t know why I’ve used it so many times. They usually give me a wrong item or completely leave out an item from my order. Other than that, this location has good food and service when you done in. So I don’t understand why their Rapid Pickup is so bad.

I had the baked potato soup and steak & white cheddar panini. They were offered as a Choose Two item and I chose those two. I liked how I could choose two. That’s smart. I was about to choose one, but my co-worker pointed out that I could choose two. My meal also came with with chips. That was nice.

One star for the extremely slow service in the morning. Don’t come here if you have another place to be! Despite their super slow service in the mornings I love that they have rewards! And the people are really nice!

Horrible. Placed an order for catering/delivery about 4 days in advance BYPHONE. Also followed up with a call closer to the event day. This may not be the correct location to review, as Anna, the woman I spoke on the phone with didn’t mention that mountain view location sends its deliveries to the Sunnyvale location. I gave my order & all my credit card information. day of event comes and I call to follow up at 9:05 for my 9:15 delivery and they say they’ve called me many times, I received no calls. then she looks for my order again and says she never received it. how do you take a credit card number AND an order down and never receive an order? HORRIBLE horrible catering experience. Management should follow up on protocol because if this happens often — that is awful & ridiculous.

This review could probably be written for all Panera Bread locations, because the menus are all the same. But I have to say that after having gone to this place at various locations off and on over the years, they’ve consistently improved their menu with some good, healthy options. So they get the thumbs up for being progressively better than some of the other fast food options in the area. Also not a bad place for a lunch meeting.

Went to the Panera Bread in Mountain View today and it was a great experience! No lines, food to table service and the best company that I could have! You can never go wrong with«soup and sandwich» or a steak panini! Also, you always have to get a cool and refreshing strawberry and banana smoothie! Who doesn’t love Panera?

9−22−158:20PM The WORST eating experience in a few years. I got a half soup and half salad. Definitely not worth what you pay for. I believe a new employee made my meal as it consisted of the smallest serving of soup and a sandwich with barely anything in it. Only the second time I’ve been to a Panera and I WILLNOT be coming back.

So for the last 15 months I passed by this«Panera Bread» everyday probably 4 to 5 times a day… Never stopped by or gave it a shot until today… And O-M-G to what I missed for the pass 15 months… This restaurant is super fancy, healthy and fresh! They have fantastic soups, super healthy sandwiches/paninis, super fresh salads even breakfast!!! I didnt try any dessert because my rigid diet but damn they look delicious! The restaurant it-self is very clean and well maintained… They even have outdoor dining area! I loved it and definitely will come back many times from now on… I did notice is a bit pricey… A full meal for two was about $ 28.00… But hello I think thats kind of California average meal price for two… So… If u are like me, that always wondered how is the food at this place or pass by a thousand time and never try it, I highly recommend it! Clean and fresh food for those caring about calories…

OK so this does the job for lunch, but be prepared to wait if you come at peak times. Been a few years since I’ve been back to Panera, here’s what’s changed: a) the menu has changed, more healthy options with less preservatives. soba bowls, broth owls, different kinds of soups, etc. b) they now bring the food to you, instead of just paging you to get your food from the counter c) some of the foods i remembered had changed — they now serve whole wheat rolls instead of slices of whole wheat baguettes Positives: — Tons of outdoor seating here, was able to bring my pup — Food was fresh, some old options like the caesar salad are still available — Lots of healthy options including salad bowls, soba bowls, fruit as a side instead of bread and more Downsides: — Parking is packed — Wait time — They still have tiniest cups for water Overall, the experience /food is something more similar to Lyfe Kitchen now — pretty sweet

AVOIDATALLCOSTS! TL;DR: When I asked the rude manager for her name, she refused & stormed off. When I asked a second time, she said I was«threatening her» and she was going to call the police(!). Yes, I am serious. I know what you are thinking. I must be leaving something significant out. I must have been screaming and yelling, making a scene or swearing. I’d probably assume the same thing, really. But, no I actually wasn’t even angry until she threatened to call the police. I guess It’s a sign of a great economy when someone with that unstable and with such a nasty disposition has any job at all let alone being a manager that has to deal with the public. Long version: My wife and I stopped by Panera on a sunny Saturday afternoon for some sandwiches & salads. My wife waited in their outdoor seating area with our dog while I went in and ordered. Unfortunately, they managed to mess up a few things up on our order. We were actually going to let most of that slide and just eat what was in front of us but unfortunately the server didn’t bring utensils or napkins and forgot my beverage. When we pointed that out, he told us to «talk to the kitchen». I wasn’t thrilled with this his response but it seemed like it might be the quickest resolution so I went inside to the kitchen counter area to get the correct sandwich, my drink & utensils. While I was explaining, a woman who I believe was the manager(Asian female, 30’s) overheard and stepped in — I assumed to help. Well, she wasn’t any help and quickly made things worse. The kitchen folks were actually very helpful, nice & apologetic; they were already taking care of the sandwich had given me my chai when MWA(manager with attitude) interrupted. You could clearly tell by everyone’s reaction behind the counter that they were intimidated by her. I was about to find out why. Anyhow, I was 2⁄3 of the way there — just needed some knives and forks so we could eat! When I told MWA that, she said«we’ll bring that with your order» I explained that our server did bring our order but did NOT bring any and since my wife had her food and I had my salad we would like to have our utensils. She walked off without saying anything — I was hoping to get some utensils. I waited around a few more minutes before deciding to ask the nice people behind the counter when MWA reappeared, interrupted and AGAIN said(this time with a bit more ‘tude) «we’ll bring them with your food.» I had to say again that we HAVE food and just want utensils to eat it with. Why the HELL would I be asking for utensils if I had no food yet??? She resentfully handed me a couple forks. No apology but tons more attitude. I decided it wasn’t worth the effort to try to get knives and went back outside to the table. When the«manager» brought he sandwich out, she brought her condescending demeanor with her. I really have no idea at all why on earth she was irritated at me but trust me when I tell you, she made it very apparent. When I tried to explain that we just wanted what we ordered, I got even more attitude. She was now raising HER voice at me. I eventually asked her name so I could complain. She responded by turning right around and walking back inside. I needed to refill my water cup so I was walking to the only entrance & she was in front of me so I asked her again for her name. I was plenty pissed bit still had not raised my voice or done anything that would begin to warrant her insanely over-the-top response: «STOPFOLLOWINGME!», «YOU’RETHREATENINGME!», she said. I stopped in my tracks and held up my empty hands in shock to make clear that I posed no threat when she turned around and said…“I AMCALLINGTHEPOLICE”. For the first time in our interaction, I did raise my voice a bit when I said«yeah, why don’t you do that!» then turned around and went back to my table. I decided walking back in to get my water wasn’t worth it. I almost wish that she had called the police since if they had showed up and asked anyone that witnessed the scene they would have quickly figured out that she’s a few french fries short of a happy meal. If anyone knows MWA’s name, I’d like to include it when I contact Panera’s customer support.

I can’t speak so much for the food, but this is a great place to study. I’ve come here many times, there’s always spaces to sit, and it’s not too noisy. This Panera location has a nice outdoor area with tables, cushioned seats and umbrellas. The atmosphere is usually pretty mild and low key, If not, I just wear earbuds. I usually order a coffee or tea,(which is refillable). Wifi is free. You simply confirm Internet over a browser. Note that during peak hours of 11 – 2, wifi is limited to a 30 minute session, but outside those times its normal. If you have a smartphone, wifi is not limited during 11 – 2 so you could just use your phone if you need. Parking is not a problem, there’s plenty of spaces since the location is situated in a plaza. The only time you might have trouble is around 12 lunchtime, when everyone is on their lunch break.

Haven’t been to a Panera since I lived in southern CA6 years ago, but had to stop by to pick up a bunch of gift cards for a work function. The employee seemed a bit new, but was super cheerful and helpful. While I was there, I decided to order a sandwich to go for lunch. Also picked up a cup of their tomato soup for a coworker. At almost $ 5, seems a bit too pricey, and their pick 2 menu is a little confusing and not that cheap. Food was ready quickly and I should’ve told them I don’t like pickles as that is all I could smell in the bag. I went with the napa chicken salad sandwich, and I had high hopes. It was very mayo-y and sliced chicken rather than cut up pieces of chicken. It was okay, needs more grapes and almonds. I love Boudin’s so much that I have not found one that matches up. The bread was delicious though. Overall, okay, but would much rather prefer Boudin’s sandwiches.
