L’ecole De Danse

L’Ecole De Danse is a rare gem of rare quality among the many ballet schools in the Bay Area. For my 8 years as a parent and student at L’Ecole de Danse, I have seen may small girls magically grow into beautiful and graceful ballerinas. This is a classical ballet school that teaches exquisite technique and artistry. Among the many ballet schools in the area, L’Ecole de Danse stands out for its attention and care to the individual student. The school develops the students’ talents and the sense of harmony that comes with movement in music. As s student myself, I leave class every time filled with joy and lightness of heart — a feeling for which I always come back to restore my inner-self’s balance.

I grew up learning to dance with Christine at L’ecole de danse (then in Palo Alto). I am now in my late 30s and still dancing! Christine teaches great ballet technique that students can carry with them where ever they go after they graduate. In addition, I think the school was a great environment with rigorous instruction while still being fun and friendly. I highly recommend L’ecole De Danse!

Both my children (ages 13 and 10) started ballet with Christine since 1^st grade and have stayed with Christine these last 6+ years.
Christine Morgan is a very experienced teacher with many many years of teaching ballet in the valley. She is strict, disciplined and has great technique, but is also warm and kind to the children.
Her classes are strictly classical ballet, and my girls love it. The younger ones start with joyful creative dances. As they get older, Christine somehow injects the technique and form into the classes at the same time keeps it fun and creative.
I appreciate her experience, and she has given my daughters excellent ballet education.

When we first came to the Palo Alto/​Mountain View area around 5 years ago, we were looking for a good ballet school… one that had an intimate classroom setting as well as a very inspiring and passionate ballet teacher. We found both at L’ecole De Danse.
My daughter has now been with the studio for 4 years and I cannot say enough about how much she has learned as a ballerina. Her technique and form have improved so much since the fun playfulness of the earlier classes she took in her younger years… all because of the dedication and teaching passion of her teacher Christine Morgan. We could not be happier with the new studio and all of the individualized teaching and training that our daughter receives. And my daughter loves to be able to watch the older girls and see how they have grown as dancers, and this is possible since we are able to see them year after year.
Christine takes great strides to enhance and bring out the ballet in each one of her students. We are so thankful to have found such a wonderful place.
