Very bad bad service!!! The last 2 times I was here i’ve had terrible experiences with the washers, I called the service guy and he said it would take him half an hour to arrive and he took more than 2 hrs! Uugh… The worst place to wash! Sucks!!!

If you like being hassled by druggies for your change, come here. There’s also shady people loitering inside and in front all day. A large number of machines(like 50%) have out of order signs on them. Machines are expensive. They are large though.

Pros: Dryers and some of the washers look newish Washers come in regular, hyuuuge, and ginormous Open till midnight(last wash is at 11) Cons: You pay for quarters, unless you only use single dollar bills. That’s right — if you use a $ 5, $ 10, or $ 20 in the change machine, you pay a 5% surcharge for the privilege. There’s a lengthy, whiny note posted above the change machines about how oppressed the owners are by having non-customers walk in and get change, and that’s why they have no choice but to charge for it. They might as well have just written«we don’t really want your business». Expensive — the regular washers are $ 2.50(compared to $ 1.25 in my apartment building) and the hyuuuge are $ 4.25. Dryers are $ 0.25 for 5 minutes. The bathroom had no running water in the sink. I’ll try to avoid this place, but it’ll be difficult to since it’s so nearby my building, and sometimes you just need a big washer. By the way, it says«Coin Wash» out front, not«Bailey’s Coin-Op Laundromat».

— Pros — + Generally clean facilities + All new dryers.(Note: You pay in increments to dry. + Various washer sizes. There are a couple that can wash comforter-sized items. + Clean single-person bathroom + Open 4am to 12am every day + Has quarter change machine + Has laundry vending machine: detergent, dryer sheets, plastic laundry bags + Located in Bailey Shopping Center, which has a Safeway(w/in-store Starbucks, Wells Fargo ATM), Jack in the Box, a couple other businesses. — Cons — — Quarter change machine takes a cut of the change it gives out. I put in a $ 20, and I only got $ 19 worth of quarters. I didn’t try other bill denominations. No sign posted regarding such. I would’ve been less annoyed had there been a sign noting how much of a fee would be charged per denomination. — It’s pricey to wash here. The cheapest washers here are $ 2.50; I think those can hold a medium load. The next size up is $ 4.25. Then $ 6. Then the bigger ones have prices that depend on the cycle chosen. — The dryer charge is $ 0.25 for 5 minutes of drying. To get clothes dry, you’re looking at about 40 minutes, or $ 2.00. — There’s no one on-site to fix things, or a way to report it. I didn’t have problems with the machines, though as this is entirely self-serve, it’d be helpful for the owner to post a number to call.

The place outside is called«Coin King Laundromat» rather than«Bailey’s Coin-Op Laundromat» and its location on the map does not reflect the real location of the business. I have been at a different laundromat in Mountain View and I think this place has one pro and three cons. The pro is that the place is open early and until very late. The cons are that nobody seems to be on site if you have a problem with the machines, the machines seem 50 to 75 cents more expensive than other places and if you use a machine for change, if you use bills bigger than $ 1, you get ripped off(basically, the machine keeps some of your money if you use $ 5, $ 10 or $ 20 bills). Overall, the place looks decent inside. It’s clean and they have a TV you can watch while doing your laundry. I give the place 3 stars but I’m not very excited about it.

I Must give this place 5-Stars for coming through at the last minute *literally*. I was down to my last set of clothing and while searching all over Sunnyvale & Cupertino, there was no place open past 10pm or should I say 9pm since that’s the last wash. I got home, got on Unilocal and found this place. It is conveniently located in the Safeway Shopping Center on Shoreline. It is nicer than most hole-in-the-wall laundry places and what’s even better is that you can stop next door at 24 hr Safeway and do some midnight shopping. Even better you got a Jack N Box in case you get the munchies. The closing staff was nice enough to wait for me to finish folding my laundry pass midnight. This place saved me a ton and the hours are so convenient especially if you like doing your laundry late at night.

Signage in front window«King Coin Laundry» Posted hours are 4 am — midnight. Now those are some serious laundry hours. A soda machine and a Red Bull machine out front. Gonna need that Red Bull if you’re going to be doing laundry at 4:00 am. Royal blue walls, change machine, several different sized washers, baskets, and a couple of TV’s. Expect some ‘booty bumpin’ to be going on in here as there is not a lot of aisle space and it doesn’t take to many people in this laundromat to pack the place out and have ya bumpin booties to the rhythm of tumbling clothes. This laundromat is in the Bailey Plaza Shopping Center so while you wait on your clothes to wash and dry you can go get some pizza, or have a taco, or even stop in at Safeway, or better yet hit the J in the Box for $ 1.00 deluxe burger.

Okay, so you’ve got two T.V.‘s and a vending machine; but, 14 quarters to run a load of wash? You’ve got to be kidding! Atleast you get 8 minutes of drying time for a quarter. I don’t know if that’s really a positive point.
