Extremely extremely unprofessional. My experience: I responded to a job listing for this company. I had two phone conversations with Brittany before I met her for my job interview. She told me that although I would be working in San Francisco, she ‘does her interviews’ in Sunnyvale, CA. I made the 90 mile round-trip drive. The interview with her lasted 15 seconds. When I was taken into her interview room she asked me, «What kind of a car do you have?» I replied and told her. She looked at me and said, «Oh, we do not use those cars or cars that are two doors.» I asked her why she did not ask me about my vehicle when we spoke twice over the phone & why was this detail not in the job listing? She smiled and replied in a bubbly sing-song voice, ‘I’m sor-rr-rr-y’ and she escorted me out the door. I called the company’s main office stating I wanted to make a complaint and was transferred to the HR director. After describing my experience that morning she replied that there had been many previous complaints about Brittany and I would be compensated for my gasoline, and a check for $ 25 would be mailed to me. No check ever arrived. I called and was again told this would be taken care of. Again, nothing, no check, no callback when I called again. Anyone considering business with this company in any capacity ought to have second and third thoughts. I agree with many of the others who described their experience with this grossly unprofessional company.

This company need to learn how to run a business. There is no structure or Chain of Command. You have to deal with Atlanta and your own offices. If for some reason you can’t work or an emergency comes up, you’re told to notify HR in ATL by EMAIL. Btw you’re not allowed to call them directly because THEY don’t like being bothered. HR makes note of that but doesn’t notify your office of your situation. Later on after your shift is suppose to start your base office calls to tell you that you were scheduled but didn’t show. If you don’t answer they make you down as a NOSHOW. The office will tell you you’re suppose to call them and let them know of the situation. Now that going against protocol because when you call both office numbers it go to ATL. So what happens is you have to take direction from both ATL and your base office. Both these place always contradict eachother all the time. One will say one thing and the other will say the complete opposite making it look like you don’t know what you’re talking about. Direction are suppose to go from ATL to your office then to you. But that doesn’t happen. The other s**ty thing about this place is that they won’t fire you. They’ll get you to quit or stay that you quit so they don’t have to pay Unemployment. I’ve recently been in contact with the Better Business Bureau and the Labor Comission. They’re going to look at this place closely for UNFAIR, BADBUSINESSPRACTICE, and being base out of Atlanta, VIOLATIONS in California State and Labor Laws.

By far, the worst employer I’ve ever worked for. As a courier driver, you are out on your route alone relaying guidance from dispatchers far away from Austin, TX or Atlanta, GA from your personal smart phone. I was a SF driver and boy I damn hated delivering in San Francisco so much at my heart. It was a hellhole driving in the 2nd most dense city in America. One of the ATL dispatcher is a self-entitled fat douche bag name Ken because he was so rude to me on the phone. Only positive thing was I got to drive the Ford Transit van and the Prius v wagon. The company rely too much on technology to coordinate the operation, but yet there will always be errors on the GPS and communication. I quit this stupid company before they had the chance to fire me. If you want to kiss their arses for ‘career advancement’ then think again. 1800Courier should stop acting like a douchy start-up tech company just because they are Google’s female dogs. 1800Courier should rank the most douche bagged company to work for on Fortune 500. The courier drivers who love this job and take pride of this company are pathetic ass kissing sheep. They can suck it and move their shitty business back to the filthy ATL. I’m also going to boycott Google Shopping Express too. ***both middle fingers up***
