Is it still Hidden Peak if I write a review? What an awesome hike. Getting there, take SR160 and make a right onto Lovell Canyon Rd, make your first right onto the fire service road(you will need a high clearance vehicle) drive a couple miles until you come to a wash and park the car there. Then follow the cairns to the trail. The first part of the trail is through a dry wash, then you will start climbing up towards the false peak. You can see the town of Blue Diamond from here as well as Red Rock, great drop offs and scary cliffs. Travel towards the peak through different terrain and this is definitely a cardio workout. There are cairns placed throughout the hike, but you make get off the trail, just keep following east. The peak is amazing, you will see Black Velvet Peak and Windy Peak from your destination as well as a panoramic view of Vegas. I think the best part is the hike back, you will go through an area called«little Zion’ it’s has a lot of the same terrain as Zion NP, it’s pretty amazing to realize this is in our back yard. There are waterfalls, trees, and different rocks that is truly amazing to see. Someone was crafty and built a fire pit out of the stones. This hike is not to be missed! Stats: 8 miles RT 1100 ft elevation gain Not a clear/maintained trail Some exposure
