This store is moderately clean. There tend to be long lines during most times of the day but especially in the evening. Other than at Christmas, I’ve never seen more than half the registers open. They seem to be drastically understaffed compared to the traffic flow they see. As a customer it’s incredibly frustrating to wait in line for 20 – 30 mins especially when you have groceries. It seems that management does little more than walk around with their walkie-talkies and ear pieces. I’ve never seen one actually interact with a customer unless it was that the customer initiated the interaction such as with a complaint. Most employees look as if they’d wish to be anywhere but there. But it is nice to be able to get everything at one place. That is the only redeeming quality I’ve found for the existence of Walmart.

Clean store, somewhat well stocked but the lines, MYGOD, the lines! You’re ready to check out, relieved to be getting out of there finally and you get stuck in line limbo. Every checkout — which isn’t many — is backed up. Sometimes across into the clothing section! And going back to the stocking situation. The food section — minus the produce at times — is reasonably stocked. But the children’s toys are not consistently stocked. The boys section(Legos) has not been fully stocked since Christmas(6 months ago). This is very frustrating when you have an 8 year old that has saved up his money and it is burning a hole in his pocket for new Legos.

Staffing levels shrink with each passing month. There is never anybody working the floor in the evenings to help customers. You can wander around half the store, up and down the aisles, without ever seeing any associate anywhere. Don’t even think about getting checked out in a hurry these days. You could gather cob webs from standing in line in one place for so long. Going down hill fast in my humble opinion. Anything they can do to cut costs is done, regardless of how it impairs customer service or associate relations. It’s really sad to see.
