Food isn’t «too» bad… the service on the other hand… takes a a little bit to have someone take your order. My husband ordered steak (medium), scrambled eggs, hash browns and english muffin. I ordered one egg over medium and bacon… 25 minutes! !!!

This is the best breakfast place in Mountain Home. Never had anything wrong and my food has always come out great. The wait staff had always been fun and energetic but not to the point it’s annoying. A group of local veterans eat breakfast there regularly. All in all if you want breakfast all the way up till 2pm Mel’s is the place to go.

Very friendly staff. Food mediocre. Had breakfast here. Ham and cheese omelette. Ham and egg part was ok, but they used American cheese inside and draped two slices over the top. OMG! It should mention in the menu that they use American cheese, not real cheese. My wife had two fried hard and pancakes. Both were ok.
