Very quiet, nice and friendly. The beds are too hard and not very comfortable, that’s the only downside we see.

We stayed here for a weekend while visiting family in Mountain Home. Checked in with no problem in our huge king suite, which was very orderly and clean. The check in process was a breeze with the reservations we made online, took maybe 2 minutes at most. They have an outdoor pool and hot tub, which were unfortunately for us, closed due to time of the year. Continental breakfast was not too bad. Nothing special or different from any other Holiday Inn I’ve stayed at. We did have a small problem with our shower. After being in there for just 5 minutes the for was flooded for some reason. I spoke with the very nice woman at desk as I was heading to the breakfast and someone came to our room even before we left for the day. I took a shower that night and the problem was resolved. The price was reasonable, the room was very clean, the staff was excellent… I’d stay here again for sure!

Whenever we visit my family in Mountain Home, we always stay at the HI Express. I have to admit I’m a huge fan of the chain. The breakfast is always good. The pillows are fluffy. The shower has good pressure. I don’t have to wear my flip flops just to walk on the carpet. Good stuff. The MH location is consistent with the chain. The front desk staff is always friendly. The breakfast hostesses can be a bit bitchy at times. I did see them fuss at a 9 y/o kid for using the«adult supervision» pancake machine, which seemed a bit ridiculous since all you had to do was push a button. However, it’s not anything to storm out of the common area about. This go around we stayed in the«King Suite» which is merely the handicap accessible room — basic room plus a sofa and everything is low to the ground. I was a bit disappointed since I was hoping for more of a sitting room/bedroom combo, and I was pretty bummed when I discovered it was a handicap accessible shower. Since we were staying with my two year old who only likes baths(vs showers), I might have felt differently about staying in the suite vs a regular room.
