Cute roadside farm stand with a ton of items to purchase. They also have a large wine selection. The best part is the ice cream from local dairies and cones the size of your head. This is a must stop when in the area.

The ice cream cones here are fabulous and there are great products. We stopped there the last week they were opened for the summer. We ordered a latte and Americano. We were treated extremely rudely and this is the second time we have experienced this type of attitude. We will not return there again, which is too bad as the ice cream cones are fabulous.

Stopped by this charming farm stand on the way back to Seattle from La Conner. On the positive side, they offer a good variety of very local jams, salsas and other artisanal items. Also, a very limited variety of organic produce. On the flip side, we ordered an ice cream in a waffle cone. They were handmaking the waffle cones there which is what lured us in. The Lopez ice cream was very good but the cone itself was as hard as a rock. We literally couldn’t bite into it. Finally we just threw it away. It’s a bunch of teenagers working the ice cream section so who knows what went wrong there. Could have been stale or something went awry with the recipe. Also quite a bit of their produce is from Yakima. I think I was expecting more local as in from the surrounding area. Wouldn’t go back.

Went there on Fathers Day with the kids for an ice cream. After waiting in the long line in the hot sun for probably 20 minutes, some teenager employee came out to the line to say«I’m sorry but we’ve run out of almost all ice cream.» Huh?! Thanks for making me wait with two little kids. What, you couldn’t have told people that before the wait or posted a sign. Not the way to treat customers; I will not go back again.

Forget all the other ice cream places you’ve been. Nothing beats the size of the ice cream scoops or the fresh made waffle cone.

Great ice cream and local goodies. Portions for the ice cream are HUGE, so if you’re getting one for your kid, just get one and share. Fun place to make a pit stop. They really do need to do something about the line and parking though. Not safe with a lot of kids running around. And no changing station for little ones? Changing a poopy diaper in your trunk is no fun for anyone. ICECREAMISCASHONLY!

I’ve been coming to Snow Goose since I moved to Washington 9 years ago. They are awesome for plant starts, hand made goods, fresh and local fruits & veggies, fresh cheese, fish and wine. But what everyone flocks for is the the indisputable«immodest» ice cream with homemade waffle cone! It’s simply the best local ice cream and with so many flavor choices it kinda leaves your brain spinning but you won’t be disappointed! The ice cream is cash only so keep that in mind.

So glad we found out about this place. Don’t let the line or trying to park discourage you too much, even though it can get pretty dang long, still worth it. Very friendly staff, you can sample the flavors. I ended up getting a kids size, which is actually like a normal size scoop elsewhere of the Muai Wowie sherbet in a waffle cone and loved it! My boyfriend got the caramel chocolate chuck something or other, single scoop and couldn’t finish the whole thing.

Stopped on our way home from seeing the tulips! Great selection of local vegetables, meats, and dairy. Got a delicious waffle cone filled with Snow Goose ice cream. Bought some local wine and beer too! Fun place to pull over and check out if you’re already out that direction.

I’m always here for the ice cream. There’s something about their homemade waffle cones or their ginormous ice cream servings that wins my heart, but I just can’t choose between the two. I go here at least 5 times a Spring/Summer. Always an experience to take a Southender. It’ll give them a reason to want to visit the beautiful north side of snohomish county once in awhile. BRINGCASH!

Snow Goose Produce is always a fun detour if in the area of La Conner, Mount Vernon, and Stanwood up north in Skagit County. The kiddo and I decided to take advantage of a sunny Saturday to head up north, and of course, it’s a worthwhile stop to snap a great photo of Mount Baker and check out what’s available at the farmers market stand. Today was busy with weekend wanderers, car club enthusiasts, motorcyclists, cyclists and activities this weekend like the smelt derby and the opening of daffodil season. First up was a monstrous waffle cone generously filled with chocolate peanut butter ice cream($ 5.50). Just FYI — they scoop very generously. Sizes include kids, one scoop, or two scoops. Easily one scoop is the equivalent of a pint of ice cream. I also scored on two freshly baked 24 ounce loaves from Breadfarm(one white, one wheat — each under $ 5. This saves us a trip to the Bow-Edison area. And of course, bought some Snow Goose Produce raspberry jam. Still early in the season, so not much in the way of produce. There’s still plenty of items to browse: baskets, souvenirs gearing up for the daffodil and tulip season, chips, dips/spreads, artisan breads, cheese, smoked salmon, honey, jams, salad dressings, seafood/shellfish, cookies, candies, pickles(even Boat Street Pickles from Seattle!), wine and other beverages. There’s also a helpful tourist kiosk chockfull of brochures and maps. ***CASHONLY for ice cream*** However, debit and credit cards are AOK for other purchases at the cashier checkout.

They aren’t kidding when they boast of «immodest scoops» of ice cream on the roadside signs leading to Snow Goose Produce. Seriously, a single scoop could easily feed a family of four. Neither my husband nor I could make our way through more than a third of each waffle cone despite the deliciousness of the ice cream. We opted for two of the Lopez Island specialty flavors: mountain blackberry and toffee coffee crunch. The blackberry burst of the former was refreshing and the giant hunks of yummy toffee in the latter made Ben & Jerry’s chunks look puny in comparison. Make sure you have some cash in hand because the ice cream side of the business is cash-only. Beyond the ice cream, Snow Goose is like a well-curated farmer’s market with loads of fresh seafood, fruit, veggies, and craft items. Definitely worth a stop whenever you find yourself in this neck of the woods.

I dream of Snow Goose Produce! They have everything you could need in a Washington market… fresh fruits, herb plants, homemade breads, beautiful flowers, jams, handmade jewelry, boutique gifts, and fresh seafood. So what makes them unique and convinces us to drive 1.5 hours from home? It’s the local ice cream that pulls us in like a tractor beam! I literally dream of their lemon meringue. My best friend visited weeks ago from out of state, her and her hubby are still talking about Snow Goose. The ice cream is smooth and creamy, the flavors are bold and natural, and the portions are monstrous! If that’s not enough, the thick cookie-like waffle cone is the perfect vehicle to deliver this party in the mouth! Lemon meringue is my all time fave! My hubby is a traditional wild mt. blackberry. The kiddos love mint chocolate chip and bubble gum. Lopez Island flavors are the cream of the crop. You can taste samples before you decide. Make sure you do because once you commit you’re going to need a bib to take on the colossal dripping cone of madness. Go for a single, you’ll never finish a double.

What a great little spot! They have great selection of farm-fresh products, hand-crafted beer/cider, bread, baskets, jams, fresh seafood, etc. etc. etc. and a huge selection of ice cream to top it off. My husband just picked up a hard cider. I really wanted ice cream, but talked myself out of it :(It was too cold out, but that didn’t seem to stop anyone else. They were out of a bunch of flavors, but still had a huge selection of other flavors. Wow. Everyone was really nice and helpful. We passed this place driving home from La Conner and will defintely stop by when we’re in the area again. Great place :)

If you order more than one scoop of ice cream you had better have friends along to help you eat it. This produce stand is awesome. Great selection of local berries, fruits and veggies, meats and sausage, fresh fish market, local cheese, wine, bread and a huge selection of gourmet foods and sauces. I just love this place. Everything they do, they do well. Only open for the summer. Tremendous staff with a great attitude. They accept credit cards but the ice cream(40+ flavors) is cash only.

I stopped here because of a sign before it that promised«Immodest scoops» of ice cream. «Immodest» was actually an understatement — in exchange for my $ 4, I was handed a single scoop of ice cream the size of a newborn baby’s head, on a waffle cone. I had the Swiss chocolate cherry, and it was very good — not sublime(which I’d reserve for Tucker’s in Alameda, CA, and the departed Herrell’s in Cambridge, MA), but at that price, who’s complaining? My one complaint is that the waffle cone tasted slightly stale at the top, but oddly, just fine at the bottom. Don’t know what was up for that, and maybe I just happened to stop by just before they made a fresh batch or something. Also, it’s really a *lot* of ice cream, and I rarely find any amount of dessert to be too much. Sharing a single scoop would probably work pretty well. Except I was traveling alone, so I had to share it with myself. The store also sells many wonderful-sounding things in jars like pickled okra, which I had to buy, and key lime jelly, which I almost bought. I couldn’t buy any fresh produce since I was on my way to Canada, but that all looked good too. Keep in mind that the side of the store with ice cream doesn’t take credit cards, so you either have to use their ATM, have cash with you, or buy something else in addition to the ice cream(which shouldn’t be difficult) and pay with the card at the other side of the store, telling them what size ice cream you want, then bring the receipt to the ice cream counter.
