Solid 3.5 stars. While their shoe selection isn’t as extensive as the Running Room back home, there’s still enough. For once, I saw more Brooks models than Asics.
But their non-​shoe stuff, like the clothes, running socks, in-​soles, gadgets, etc. seem to be bigger, oddly enough.

Good corner location in this quiet part of the hood, has a theme going on here.

On our way up to van exchange 1 for the 2014 Ragnar we stopped off in Mt Vernon for some grub and to go over a few things as a van. It was at this point I realized I’d forgotten my bag with my reflective vest, headlamp and night time blinkers. Quick use of the Unilocal app showed me that SRG was just down the street from where we were having breakfast. Sweet!
We drove down the street, eventually found parking and I skipped my jolly little self into the store. It has a nice open and light layout and offers just about anything you could need. The worker greeted my teammate and myself when we walked in and asked if we were looking for anything and if we were running Ragnar.
I found the reflective vest I needed and went for the one with the built in LED red flashies so I wouldn’t need to worry about buying separate ones. They didn’t have headlamps but at this point I didn’t think I’d need it based on when my runs should be taking place.
SRG saved the day for me and my van on some last minute essentials. I’ll remember they’re here for the next Ragnar just in case someone else forgets something.

I was greeted when I came in the door and as the only customer at that time, the owner was not pushy and answered my questions. I appreciate that. The store layout is logical. I found Knuckel Lights™ to test and Amphipod™ gear. Nice selection of water bottles taylored for runners.
