In fairness, since I notice I’ve written two scathing reviews of Salvation Army facilities, I wanted to say I’ve also had good experiences at other locations, especially the one in Mount Vernon. They are always very friendly and happy to take donations although they do not take furniture on Saturday (which is a problem since it’s the only time I can get help to carry it). They have a huge selection of clothing and furniture, though their household item selection is not great. But definitely go for the clothing, you could always find something you’ll like.
